We have stayed at Strandpiren many times, but this was the first time the hotel restaurant was open in the evening. The food was excellent. I had the best mussels in wine I have ever had, and my husband had a great fish dish.

Housed in a refurbished harbour warehouse, this hotel is just 200 metres from Gävle Central Station. It offers free Wi-Fi and wooden-furnished guest rooms with cable TV. I liked that it felt a bit like being at home. The bed was comfortable and the bedroom and bathroom clean and cared for. The breakfasrt had a big variety. The lovation is cemtral, 5 min. from the station, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The access to the hotel was via a code, which was very useful, and everything was well organized.

Situated next to Gävle Central Station, Scandic CH offers free WiFi, a gym and sauna access. All rooms include an LCD TV with Pay TV access. Great stay. Very comfortable,best facilities in the room, fantastic breakfast and excellent location.

The rooms were nice and spacious. Everything was clean. The lounge area is nice and relaxed. The breakfast was good.
