Sometimes you forget how good and kind people can be — and then someone like Richard (Richard and Isabel are the owners) comes along and reminds you. I arrived early at 08:00, before check-in time, after a long night train. I was tired, confused, and had many concerns about my ski plans (we dont ski in Israel, and it was my first time). Then I met Richard at the reception. He noticed my stress and calmly said, "Why don’t we start with breakfast? Allow me to take care of your belongings untill the room is ready." He truly wrapped me in care and kindness — and it meant the world to me. All my questions were answered by Isabel, who gave me great recommendations and guidance. Richard shared helpful ski tips, and I even received a lovely Easter gift — a small egg filled with chocolates. The place itself is very clean, breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the only downside is the distance to the ski area, which can be a bit challenging. To summarize — I 100% recommend this place. Set in an 1883 theatre building, this hotel is within 200 metres of Östersund’s pedestrian street, Prästgatan, and the bus terminal. The theatre is a lively host for various events and music concerts.... Good location, nice style, everything clean, good stuff

Risafallets Camping er staðsett í Nyland á Jämtland-svæðinu, 17 km frá Åre og státar af útsýni yfir Risafallet-fossinn. WiFi er hvarvetna á gististaðnum og bílastæði eru ókeypis. The location was extraordinarily clean throughout the whole campground. The cabin was cute and served its purpose for my stay. The bathrooms were easy to access and everyone cleaned up after themselves.

Located next to Frösö Park Arena, Hotel Frösö Park is only 3 km from Åre-Östersund Airport.

Neighbouring Åre’s ski slopes, this lodge-style hotel is just 250 metres from Åre Train Station. It features a cosy fireplace lounge, free Wi-Fi and a restaurant serving traditional Swedish cuisine. Friendly atmosphere and our dog was very welcome
