The people make the difference. Sometimes you forget how good and kind people can be — and then someone like Richard (Richard and Isabel are the owners) comes along and reminds you. I arrived early at 08:00, before check-in time, after a long night train. I was tired, confused, and had many concerns about my ski plans (we dont ski in Israel, and it was my first time). Then I met Richard at the reception. He noticed my stress and calmly said, "Why don’t we start with breakfast? Allow me to take care of your belongings untill the room is ready." He truly wrapped me in care and kindness — and it meant the world to me. All my questions were answered by Isabel, who gave me great recommendations and guidance. Richard shared helpful ski tips, and I even received a lovely Easter gift — a small egg filled with chocolates. The place itself is very clean, breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the only downside is the distance to the ski area, which can be a bit challenging. To summarize — I 100% recommend this place. This apartment hotel is centrally located in Åre and offers self-catering accommodation with free WiFi access, just 100 metres from the Åre Torg Square and 300 metres from the Kabinbanan Ski Lift. The location is excellent. It is clean and very nice. The staff was very friendly.

Located 500 metres from Lake Storsjön, this B&B is 12 km south of Östersund. It offers free WiFi, communal cooking facilities and individually decorated rooms with bathrobes.

Situated on Prästgatan pedestrian street in central Östersund, Hotel Emma offers free WiFi and individually decorated rooms with TV and a private bathroom with shower. Our stay was wonderful. The staff was very attentive and available from the moment of booking until our departure. Optimal location, truly feels like a home away from home. The breakfast was delicious and filled with local products. The first day we spent there we had breakfast at the hotel, while the second day it was the first time they were serving breakfast in a partnering Café basically next door to the hotel. Both breakfasts were great and we even received a complimentary little gift bag filled with local products in occasion of the first breakfast at the Café. Everything was perfect! We'll definitely return if passing through Östersund again.

Set in an 1883 theatre building, this hotel is within 200 metres of Östersund’s pedestrian street, Prästgatan, and the bus terminal. The theatre is a lively host for various events and music concerts.... Nice staff, great restaurant and amazing breakfast.

The location was extraordinarily clean throughout the whole campground. The cabin was cute and served its purpose for my stay. The bathrooms were easy to access and everyone cleaned up after themselves.

Prästgatanett Apartments offers self-catering accommodation just 3 minutes' walk from Östersund's main square, Stortorget. Free WiFi access is available. Wonderful apartment with artful combination of classic decor and modern appointments. Easy walk to stores, restaurants, cafes, grocery, etc.

Neighbouring Åre’s ski slopes, this lodge-style hotel is just 250 metres from Åre Train Station. It features a cosy fireplace lounge, free Wi-Fi and a restaurant serving traditional Swedish cuisine. We loved the 2 bedroom suite we were in as it was spacious with fantastic views of Are. Breakfast was excellent as was dinner also. Staff really friendly and helpful.

This small B&B is 200 metres from the nearest ski lift at Funäsdalen Ski Resort. It offers accommodation with private bathrooms. WiFi and parking are free. Very cozy apartment, quiet and warm room. We really enjoyed relaxing there after long day of skiing. Breakfast was limited but delicious. We especially enjoyed the freshly baked bread!
