Offering a quiet, private beach on the island of Öland, Mormors Pensionat Strandhagen is located in Stora Rör, 25 km from Kalmar city centre. WiFi and parking are free. Everything was just perfect: the house, the room, the personnel, the breakfast and Findus the dog. What was above any expectations was how beautiful the location was by the sea. Too bad we only had one night there.

Hotell Hamnen is in Färjestaden and features scenic views over the Kalmarsund Strait from all rooms. Rooms here will provide you with a flat-screen TV, balcony and sea views. Location was fantastic! Happy that was possible to stay with dog.

Located by the port in Borgholm just 100 metres from the nearest beach, Villa Verdi offers a variety of apartments with free WiFi and cooking facilities. Kjell was the best host. I consider him a friend. He answered all our questions. We got to see the king of Sweden. I can not thank him enough for all his advice. The location is great. We were able to come back later to this property for another day. I highly recommend it if you are going to stay in Borgholm..

Eksgården Gårdshotell is located in Gårdby on the eastern side of Öland island. This renovated building dates back to the 18th-century and offers hotel rooms and apartments. We were upgraded to a bigger room and the staff was always super nice and attentive. Everything in the breakfast basket was delicious and we loved the concept. The room and bathroom were clean and the bed was really confortable, and the common areas are so beautiful that we could have stayed just reading in the garden for hours. We also had dinner at the restaurant one night and the food was good, although a bit on the pricey side. We'll be back for sure.

This charming family-owned manor is located 1 km from the city centre of the coastal village Borgholm on the island of Öland. Both WiFi and private parking are free. What a fantastic Hotel... Family run and it shows. We were really looked after. Breakfast was superb, the room was well appointed and very comfy. I'd recommend a stay if you are visiting this area.

This traditional, countryside hotel is in the Öland village of Kastlösa, 200 metres from Stora Alvaret’s limestone plain, a World Heritage site. It provides 2 free outdoor pools and a large garden. Very pleased with the food and the staff. All aspects of our stay were perfect.
