Located by the port in Borgholm just 100 metres from the nearest beach, Villa Verdi offers a variety of apartments with free WiFi and cooking facilities. Kjell was the best host. I consider him a friend. He answered all our questions. We got to see the king of Sweden. I can not thank him enough for all his advice. The location is great. We were able to come back later to this property for another day. I highly recommend it if you are going to stay in Borgholm..

This charming family-owned manor is located 1 km from the city centre of the coastal village Borgholm on the island of Öland. Both WiFi and private parking are free. It was quiet located in a very nice place the breakfast was very good and the owner was very friendly and knowledgeable about what we should see

This traditional, countryside hotel is in the Öland village of Kastlösa, 200 metres from Stora Alvaret’s limestone plain, a World Heritage site. It provides 2 free outdoor pools and a large garden. Very pleased with the food and the staff. All aspects of our stay were perfect.

Set in a renovated 1860s farmhouse, this inn offers views of the Baltic Sea and the barren limestone plains of Stora Alvaret, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Wi-Fi is free. Our room was huge and comfortable, with a balcony and lovely views out over fields towards the sea. We had a well-equipped shared kitchen to ourselves as nobody else was staying on our floor during our stay. In the shared lounge area and room itself there were numerous useful and interesting books on the flora, fauna and history of the island. The owner was extremely helpful and responsive. Everything was perfect, and we would definitely like to return.
