This 3-star bed and breakfast offers private entrance. Finding Hale Hualalai for our last two days on the big island was a stroke of luck. The facility is tucked away off a mountain road surrounded by coffee plantations and endowed with a panoramic view. It was a distinct pleasure to have conversations with Ricky, who is an excellent host and cook. We particularly enjoyed eating his delicious breakfasts while gazing out at the beautiful view and watching the hilarious antics of the geckos. Ricky is also a great source of information about the island and Hawaii in general. The location is great for coffee tasting. (Be careful about getting over caffeinated and driving on the winding mountain roads!). We initially chose to stay at Hale Hualalai because of proximity to the airport, which is only 15 minutes away by car.

Hale-Hoola B & B is located in Captain Cook. Free WiFi access is available. Each room here will provide you with a patio and a seating area. Complete with a microwave, the dining area also has a refrigerator. Featuring a shower, private bathroom also comes with a bath and a hairdryer. You can enjoy sea view from the room. Extras include an outdoor seating area, bed linen and a fan. Very nice Hawaiian atmosphere with the nature. Breakfast was on the balcony with a good view on the ocean. Food allergies got taken serious. Swimming equipment like beach towels, boards or snorkels was provided.

Keauhou Shopping Village is only 2 blocks away. Amazing huge 2 floor apartment, nicely decorated, extremely well equipped, beautiful surroundings, great location. Perfect!

Guests can also relax in the garden. The B&B exceeded expectations. Wish we could have stayed here longer and may come back to stay in the future. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area. Views out the front our beautiful and hosts are very welcoming.

There is a very nice beach park close by, where you can go surfing and snorkling. You might need a car to get to sights or supermarkets.

Guests can take advantage of the complimentary shuttle service within the Waikoloa Beach Resort. This family friendly resort offers babysitting services and children’s activities. It’s exceptional. Far exceeded my expectations. It’s not clear in the description that you have full use of the rest of the Hilton resort which is just brilliant.

Set in Volcano, 18 km from Kilauea, Aloha Crater Lodge offers accommodation with a hot tub. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are accessible at the bed and breakfast free of charge. This 3-star bed and breakfast offers private entrance. The owner of the Lodge is a great person and helped me a lot, and I am very grateful to her. Breakfast was great, it's great to have such food so far away from the city
