Located 33 km from Eagle Canyon Country Club, Kassaboera Lodge offers a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, a garden and air-conditioned accommodation with a patio and free WiFi. I am admittedly biased, since the original house was designed and built in 1960 by my frandfather Casper Krüger, great-grandson of the legendary Paul Krüger, which the present owners have subsequently converted into the 4-star Kassaboera lodge. Having grown up here, several of my cousins and I recently used the occasion of a family reunion to return to this grand old home to rekindly fond memories, wondering if the intervening 60 years had altered any of our recollections at all. What a pleasant surprise it was to discover that the present owners, Manie and Amanda, have done an excellent job here in the restoration of this special place! All the charm of the original house remains, with the high, thatched roof and spacious interior, but now with modern luxuries and conveniences added, such as the beautiful swimming pool and lovely gardens. From here it is still possible to undertake long, leisurely strolls along the lake. Now I am happy in the thought that this remains one of my favorite places on earth.

Welcome to the Villa, we are a boutique country manor situated on the Magalies Mountains with the most amazing Hartbeespoort dam views. The breakfast was very nice and fresh and the variety is accomodating everyone's diet. As for the time you should at least extend to 10h00, because as a traveller you want to sleep a bit late sometimes. The venue is next to entertainment facilities its a plus for travellers.
