Tranquility and great fishing for trout (brown and rainbow) and largemouth bass. Another highlight was the perfectly kept green lawn around the dams. We were all barefoot for most of the time. bliss

The owner, management, and staff were all outstanding. The room we stayed in was meticulous. The food was delicious. What stood out for me were all the little details - the decorations, the food presentation, the table decorations. What a treat this place was!

Amazing lodge overlooking Crocodile river. You can see elephants and hippos directly from the lodge. Staff deserve particular praise, our managers on duty Geyser (sorry for potential misspelling) and Natasha are fantastic people - very friendly and accommodating. And thanks Bruce for his humorous stories. We couldn’t ask for more and very pleased about our stay.

Ashbourne bed and breakfast is located in Hazyview, a 20-minute drive from the entrance to Kruger National Park. Ashbourne is a truly idyllic place. Everything is designed so beautifully, you feel like you’re staying in a charming old house but with all of the modern amenities. and very nice touches such as garden showers and baths if you choose. The surrounding landscape is breathtaking, with lots of rolling green hills to look out over the horizon. Rob and Dawn are so welcoming and very helpful in giving you insights about out of the way places to visit in the area. All the meals were delicious, using only fresh ingredients skillfully prepared—including home baked bread. I can’t wait to go back!
