It's a great period property, located very centrally in Beynac-et-Cazenac. Plenty of room, and it has a large garden with fantastic views over the village and the river. There is an open kitchen, and a small seating area with sofas and tv - we did not use those though as there is plenty to see in the county surrounding Beynac. A particular highlight were the caves (grottes) in Lacaves. It is fairly easily accessed from souillac airport, traffic in September was pretty relaxed. Driving around and finding our way was easy.

The cottage was perfect in every way, excellent location right in the heart of Baynac, very well presented with everything needed for the stay provided. Our host Frederique was really helpful always available on WhatsApp to give any advice we needed. Martine met us with the key exactly as planned and she was so friendly and helpful, preparing the property perfectly for our arrival and even sorting out a car parking ticket for the week for us.

This is the perfect stay if you are looking for some quite days to rest and connect with the nature. The hotel is a rustic house located in the middle of a beautiful field, the rooms are very comfortable, the stuff is really nice and the breakfast is also really good. Recommend it 100% and would love to come back at some point.

One woman spoke quite a bit of English and we enjoyed her travel insights during breakfast each day. The beds were comfortable enough. Our family had two rooms and the hotel was great about putting an extra bed in my daughter's room for my granddaughter. The breakfasts were typically French with no meat and nothing hot, but good croissants and juice.
