    The Lundy room wasn't just a room, it was a suite of three beautiful rooms. The roll top bath and comfortable bed took it to the next level. Breakfast and dinner in the bistro downstairs was really tasty. Will and the staff were really accommodating, friendly and attentive in a relaxed manner. Can't recommend Smugglers Rest enough. We'll definitely be back.

    I couldn’t fault this beautiful place! everyone there was extremely friendly we stayed in the heartland suit (I think) it had a amazing huge bed that was extremely comfortable a little balcony, the coffee machine was a nice touch and the bathroom was unreal nice free standing bath! it definitely felt premium the breakfast was exceptional we also had a Sunday lunch on our stay and they cater for vegetarian and it was very good food we went as far to say it was the best food in the area! definitely recommend

    I booked a room at The Smugglers Rest the same night of my arrival and I stayed for two days. Will welcomed us and was super friendly, he is a surfer and is keen to share his local knowledge. The room (Exmoor) was clean, spacious and full of light. The breakfast is amazing! Highly recommended!

    Excellent village location. Beautiful large bathroom. Room was very spacious. Breakfast was excellent. We also booked evening meal and both enjoyed it. All the food was very good quality and extremely tasty.

    The location was great and the staff were incredibly warm, attentive and helpful. The room was lovely and very well laid out with a sofa, dressing table and a balcony. The room also had tea and coffee facilities, lovely bathroom products and a good sized TV. The bed was very comfy. The food was excellent. We also ate there for lunch on Sunday and found the food and choice of drinks to be excellent. We would definitely stay here again.

    Large, comfortable room with superb bathroom (shower and free-standing bath) and small balcony. Quiet location in centre of Mortehoe, a lovley village with post-office, shop, take-aways and pubs. Great breakfast (any combination of English or Continental or both!). Friendly and welcoming hosts.
