Across the bridge from Rio Dulce itsself, but everything is a short tuktuk ride or boatride away. Perfect location and pool. Very nice cabins! Best we had in the whole of Guatemala.

Wonderful family owned business - you feel like you are somehow apart of their family. From the moment I arrived, I was provided with a friendly and efficient service. There is a complimentary boat service they provide to pick you up from where the bus drops you from Guate, and brings you to the hotel. Wifi was not too strong in my room.. but good enough. I needed to attend a work meeting one morning, and they allowed me to use a specific area in the restaurant, that had the strongest signal - very attentive. One of the owners actually sat with me and gave me his recommendations on what to see in a short amount of time. He also sent me an assuring reply to a text I happen to send to the hotel (after I checked out), to get their opinion on a particular public bus charge I was quoted. Food and cocktails were also lovely!

Free private parking is available on site. Liesel was awesome and communicative. The food was outstanding (did a 4 course dinner with wine pairing), and the whole vibe of the hotel was relaxed and modern while still being an eco lodge.
