Review of VIP Great Hill Apartments, Phuket Having stayed in numerous locations throughout Phuket, I initially harbored some skepticism when booking the VIP Great Hill Apartments, particularly due to the absence of any reviews. However, I must assert that this establishment is arguably the finest apartment block in Phuket considering its value for money. Upon arrival, I paid £715 for a three-month stay, a decision I certainly do not regret. The apartment itself, though compact at approximately 300+ sqft, is perfectly suitable for one or two occupants. Furnished with a comfortable queen-size double bed and a spacious wardrobe (albeit with an initial odour issue, which dissipated over time), the accommodation also boasts a splendid rain shower and a functional albeit petite kitchenette. Despite its modest proportions, the balcony, albeit minuscule at around 6 sqft, serves its purpose well, particularly for hanging laundry. In terms of amenities, the apartment is commendably well-equipped. Clean bed linen is provided initially, with subsequent responsibility falling upon the guest for laundering. The complex upholds a strict no-smoking and no-drinking policy in public areas, fostering an environment conducive to those who appreciate the tranquility of Phuket's quieter side. Moreover, the proximity to the beach, a mere 1km away, and the convenience of nearby amenities further enhance the appeal of the location.
