Beautifully decorated ryokan, lovely rooms with locally crafted furniture. Breakfast was expensive but well worth it if you haven’t tried the local Takayama delicacies before. Staff spoke great English as well.

The staffs were incredibly helpful with everything. The hotel is close to the city center and the old town, so we can easily walk to all the major attractions. The selection of yukata that the hotel provide makes for the awesome experience of walking around the old town. Each room is spacious with a modern touch, so it does not feel too traditional. Overall amazing experience.

You can message hotel to pick you up at bus or train station. I did it last minute but service was prompt and smooth. Suite room is spacious with impressive view. There are three onsen to try. I tried onsen on 1st floor safter dinner ,onsen at 7 th floor of hotel infront of this hotel in early morning…..sunrise light was so beautiful. Third onsen is 2 storey old building in front , I miss it. Breakfast and dinner was great.
