Best onsen experience of a life time! We travel quite a bit and this exceeded all expectations. Ask for Yamadasan and/or Kibesan. Rooms are spacious, amenities over and above and the Kaiseki is from local specialities and if I could give this a higher rating I would! Food, Service, Staff, cleanliness all an A+

Everything was exceptional. The traditional building was beautifully maintained and every corner was photo worthy. The staff were friendly and took very good care of us. Our room was beautiful and spacious, we had a wooden tub in our bathroom to soak in and amazing garden views from the windows. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. Onsens were wonderful and each one had its own charm and feel. The place is a short walk from the bus stop and next to the bridges and bamboo grove, allowing easy access in the evening. The stay at this ryokan was definitely a highlight of our Japan trip and we’d love to stay here again.

We have gotten a private onsen in room, and it was an amazing experience! I love how the hotel is situated deep in the forests—the place is peaceful with a view of mount fuji from the room. The room is huge and beautifully furnished with a small tatami room and balcony overlooking the mountains. The haoris and yukatas provided are comfortable along with all the hotel ammenities. There is regular free shuttle to the station, which is very helpful.

The hotel staff was super nice and helpful. One of my friends forgot his ear-pods in the room and we had left Izu. The hotel staff quickly helped to send the ear-pods to our new hotel. Good view at the mountain and the stream from the room window. 4 private onsens for reservation and 1 public one. The futons are comfortable for sleep. The traditional Yukata was offered during the stay.
