Walking distance to main attractions in the city. You can take a bus or walk to the station for about 20 minutes. Bathing in onsen and sleeping on futon was a unique experience. The ryokan was lovely and traditional, I loved the Yukata's, the onsen which we were able to use privately, the green tea in our rooms and the tatami mats and futon set up. Bungo and his mother were very kind, friendly and attentive. Bungo was extremely helpful and explained the best sights in Kanazawa for us to visit. The room was large with a tatami floor and looked onto a beautiful garden. Yukatas were provided for walking around the Ryokan. Clean facilities and some amenities provided. The baths were able to be used by myself and my husband privately. The manager is very kind and paying close attention to details. We had a delicious dinner in the room (highly recommended!!) prepared by the family, with salmon, tempura, sashimi, a large prawn, miso soup, rice, fruits, and may small nipples - it's the best dinner experience we had in Japan.Guest review bySilvioYoung couple
