It was my first ryokan experience, and it was everything I wished for and more! The stuff was extremely kind and wish to help in any time. The place was big, clean, quiet and surrounded by nature. The onsen were clean, with all the stuff you need. Was privet and relaxing.

Absolutely amazing stay (while it was not cheap ofc). +starting from the Check in (early so we left the luggage there), (got a discount card for things like the cablecar to Mt Hakone nearby), +the most beautiful room ive stayed in so far (very big room with the most amazing view directly over the lake onto mt fuji), +an amazing hotspring area lake and fuji view too btw (which is exclusive to the Hotel guests in the early morning) +an amazing dinner/breakfast experience which lived up to the high expectations, +all the way to the free shuttle bus back to Odawara, everything went great Thanks to everyone at the Ryokan for our amazing stay, we had a wonderful time!

We were so well looked after by our room attendants. We told them we wanted to leave early the next morning and they came to set up breakfast early at 7.30 on the dot (normal breakfast time is 8am). You really get the feel of Japanese hospitality. Our room attendant couldn’t speak English well but he explained the whole dinner and breakfast to us using google translate. Everything was delicious using regional specialties. The outdoor bath in the room was amazing. This was a really special part of our trip. I recommend arriving at the 3pm check-in time so you can bathe as many times as possible! The dinner experience was really cool. It was a full set up from 6-8pm in the room and they came to set up our futon beds after.
