Very conveniently located to the station, entertainment and restaurants. The owner was very helpful and friendly. Visitors should understand, this is a well-maintained, clean and tidy traditional Japanese inn that has changed a little over the past decades, and that is part of its charm. I would be happy to stay here again!

Guests at the 4-star property can enjoy mountain views in the rooms and access to a hot spring bath. The ryokan has family rooms. We stayed in a Japanese traditional room with private on-sen. It was exactly what we expected. Dinner service was great, we enjoyed it so much! Staff members were very helpful and called free shuttle bus to the bear farm for us, also provided a discount voucher.

Featuring tatami (woven-straw) flooring and traditional futon bedding, each room comes with a flat-screen TV and a fridge. The en suite bathroom has a bath tub and free toiletries. Beautiful facility- every part was traditional Japanese- architecture/food/service, but with every modern amenity. Super-attentive staff. The lobby alone is a monument to Japanese style- it is matched in every part of the hotel. The dining room is on the ground floor-fantastic- with views of the ocean. Kaiseki dinner and breakfast were superb. You will want to take pictures - even before you eat. (And I’m not a millennial who Instagrams his meals). The Japanese bath was well appointed- and divided into two parts, one inside, and one outside. From the outside portion you can hear the surf and relax. A romantic little place surrounded by larger- and probably standard hotels.

At Ryokan Sanyoan, guests can soak in the spacious, public hot spring baths, grab a drink at the bar or purchase souvenirs at the gift shop. A relaxing massage can be arranged at a surcharge.

A traditional Japanese Kaiseki dinner featuring fresh local ingredients is served at the dining room.

Guests can stay in a Japanese room with tatami (woven-straw) flooring, futon beds and a private open-air hot-spring bath, or choose a Western room with a sofa. All rooms at Shikotsuko Daiichi Hotel Suizantei are air-conditioned and have a bathtub and fridge. Private onsen rooms are awesome.

Yumoto Noboribetsu is located in Noboribetsu Hokkaido, a 15-minute drive from JR Noboribetu Train Station. The hotel offers hot-spring baths, a restaurant, a tea lounge, and rooms with satellite TV.

Rooms at the hotel come with Tatami flooring, and are equipped with a refrigerator, safety deposit box and private bathroom. Japanese pajamas and slippers are also provided. Just between the bus station and the shopping zone - perfect location! Onsen is nice.
