We stayed at Mangetsu room and it was amazing. The room is very clean and equipped with everything I need. The outdoor onsen is open air but still very private, it's totally recommended for couple. Staffs were very helpful and kind too. One more thing, don't turn away just because you see they don't serve dinner or breakfast in room. They do it with purpose that you will get the best view when you are eating. We wished we can stay longer and will come back someday.

Very traditional with original and private onsen for guests. Staff were absolutely amazing!!!

Nice and clean, big room. 711 nearby. The hostess is incredibly kind and thoughtful. She introduced us to the homestay and nearby attractions, made sure the room was warm when we returned, and gave us a discount ticket for the onsen and grass steam bath, which was really affordable and relaxing. We had a lovely and memorable conversation about our languages, experiences, or just some nonsense🤪When she learned we were rushing to catch the closing hours at scenic spots, she kindly drove us there and showed us the best route.

Professional and warmly receptions and servers. Very spacious room with an awesome view. Onsen at my own room. Dinner and breakfast are delicious! Very quiet area. Loving the vibe of this place!

The large spacious accomodation was nice.

In the Yufuin Onsen district of Yufu, close to Kinrinko Lake, Assi House features a garden and a washing machine. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, the non-smoking ryokan has a hot spring bath. Assi is probably one of the best guesthouses in Japan. It's clean, decorated, fully equipped with amenities, in addition to having a private onsen and a washing machine that doesn't require coins. The location is great, 5 minutes walk from Yufu station and bus terminal as well as having a 7/11 and a Lawson nearby. Also there's Assi the cat herself, who's very playful and goofy.
