The hotel provided a superb services, includes station pick up and drop off. Everything is great. The buffet breakfast is bery good.

This was a wonderful hotel with a great onsen and rotenburo/outdoor bath, excellent staff, kids room my 3 year old loved, and lounge tea, coffee, sake service. Would absolutely stay here again. Centrally located near the station in town.

Very modern and new building. The staff is very friendly and accommodated an early check-in (handover of the keys) without hesitation because we would be gone for the whole day to watch the fireworks in Nagaoka.

Each room at this ryokan is air conditioned and is equipped with a flat-screen TV. Some rooms include a seating area where you can relax. You will find a kettle in the room. Loved the customer service and overall hospitality. Loved the facilities and they were very clean. We also really enjoyed the tea, sake, and snack bar. The hotel felt very luxurious and was most comfortable.

All units in the ryokan are equipped with a TV. This was our best stay at a Ryokan. The serene surroundings, beautiful facilities, and amazing staff who took wonderful care of all our needs. They also catered exceptionally well with wonderful local ingredients for our half vegetarian half non-vegetarian family. AMAZING!

Surrounded by untouched nature, Satoyama Jujo offers eco-friendly designer accommodation boasting natural hot spring baths. The entire surrounding area is covered in snow during winter, providing tranquil serenity. Free Wi-Fi is available in all areas. Had the most incredible stay at Satoyama Jujo. My wife and I were visiting Japan and in search of a nature retreat from Tokyo for a few nights, and this resort exceeded our expectations in so many ways. The room was quiet and serene, the baths had stunning views of the surrounding mountains, and the food was impeccable. The service was so thoughtful as well; on our last day we were snowed in and couldn't get back to Tokyo, but the hotel made sure we could extend our reservation one night and offered a complimentary taxi to the train station the next day. Hope to be back again one day!

Tatami (woven-straw) floors and Japanese futon beds create a traditional atmosphere in the rooms at Takahan Ryokan. All rooms have a flat-screen TV, and the attached bathroom comes with a bathtub. Very nice staff with great location. Food and Onsen is also excellent.
