This is our first time in Japan and we landed straight for 4 nights in this great hotel. You get the full japanese experience when you land including traditional Japanese breakfasts and dinners, the dinners are amazing so take the half board. The rooms are big, beautiful and facilitated and the staff is extremely welcoming and helpful. It is located about 15 minutes by train outside of Kyoto but if you like to leave the crowds behind at night it's worth the commute.

Biwako Ryokusuitei offers Japanese-style/Western rooms with Lake Biwako views, a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. Good location, friendly staff, good selection of food. Nice public and private baths!

Yumotokan se nachází na ideálním místě ve čtvrti Ogoto Onsen v destinaci Ocu. Chrám Enrjakudži se nachází 16 km daleko, Hora Hiei 17 km a Chrám Shōren-in 19 km. The fantastic care they took to ensure a wonderful stay. Gladly anytime again.

Marumo Ryokan se nachází v destinaci Takashima v regionu Shiga. Jen 46 km odtud je Chrám Sanzenin. Very kind owner and staff. Big and tasty breakfast. Onsen and nice figures. Good room for a good price.

Dantokan Kikunoya se nachází 5 minut jízdy od stanice JR Ogoto Onsen a nabízí termální koupel. Na vyžádání je k dispozici bezplatná doprava ze stanice. The staff here are incredible. They went above and beyond to help us celebrate our honeymoon. I was so grateful for how hard they all worked and how kind they all were. We also got the breakfast service in our room, which was excellent, and they provided several drinks in the fridge for us for free. They shuttled us from the station and back to it, and we were even sent off by the staff at the end of our stay. So friendly and welcoming. Also, our deluxe suite had the private open air bath, and I can't recommend that enough. It was so relaxing and incredible. Lastly, I personally loved the toiletries and additional things that came with the room (shampoo, straightener, beverages, yukata, pajamas, etc.)

Everything was amazing, the staff are so friendly, and could communicate with us in English which was appreciated. Food was delicious, we opted for the vegan menu, presentation and attention to detail were great. We stayed in a Japanese style room and had meals in our room, the futon beds were comfortable, the in room onsen and massage chair made for a relaxing stay. The room had beautiful views of the lake and staying here was an experience I won’t forgot, worlds away from the crowds of Tokyo and Osaka.

長浜城下 町屋ホテル 和乃リトリートひといき se nachází v destinaci Nagahama a nabízí ubytování s zahradou, neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm, terasou a barem. Hrad Hikone je 14 km daleko. Our room was wonderful. The amenities were thoughtful and high quality. The host was extremely friendly and treated us to a tour of beautiful Nagahama.

KAMENOI HOTEL Hikone poskytuje pokoje v destinaci Hikone. Jen 2,7 km odtud se nachází Hrad Hikone a Vlakové nádraží Maibara je 6 km daleko. Amazing food, pleasant staff and great onsen. Frequent shuttles to and from train station was a plus.

Honmachi Juku se nachází v destinaci Hikone a poskytuje ubytování s zahradou, neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm a sdíleným loungem. Hrad Hikone je 900 metrů daleko. The staff went above & beyond to accommodate me. Can't rate this 180 year old property, that's been preserved & meticulously revamped into a delightful stay. 😀

Kiyotaki Ryokan poskytuje pokoje v destinaci Hikone. Jen 1,7 km odtud se nachází Hrad Hikone a Svatyně Taga-taiša je 8 km daleko. I absolutely loved my stay at Hikone and Kiyotaki ryokan. The room I stayed in was spacious and smelled of tatami, the bath was newly and renovated and comfortable, there was a small table in room along with a kettle and a teapot set perfect for a cup of tea in the morning. This was both one of my favorite stays in Japan so far as well as one of the cheaper ones. The owner of this ryokan is super friendly well. He gave me tips on what to see as well as a map of local cafes and restaurants and other tourist attractions which he himself helped make. Overall the stay was super friendly and I hope to come back in the future and even book the dinner this time.
