Great view, well maintained property, beautiful landscape and garden, wide selection for dinner and breakfast, food is top notch and generous. Staff are well trained and professional.

All rooms have a private toilet and washbasin, while bathroom facilities are shared. Green tea sets with snacks are provided. The Dinner was an amazing cultural experience as was the Private Onsen, the staff were very proffesional and helpful, and the facility was very clean and comfortable.

Amazing hotel, stayed at the traditional room, very comfy and clean. Staff is lovely, very tasty breakfast and tea ceremony is highly recommended. The area is nice, a lot of little cafes around and there is 24/7 supermarket around the corner. Great place to come back to after exploring Tokyo as the area is nice and quiet.

Traditional bed weren't super cozy but we knew it in advance.

Main Dining Room "The Fujiya" serves French cuisine in an elegant space. Restaurant Cascade offers Western dishes, while Kikka-so serves traditional Japanese kaiseki dinners. A bar, lounge and bakery are available. The hotel went beyond our expectations. Everything was excellent from the moment we arrived to when we checked-out. The hotel staff is extremely friendly and professional, the onsen area is beautiful and has a view over the mountains surrounding the hotel. For breakfast, we opted for the traditional Japanese restaurant and everything was perfect, form the food to the ambience and the location.

At the ryokan, every unit is fitted with a tatami and a flat-screen TV. There is a private bathroom with bidet in some units, along with slippers, a hair dryer and free toiletries. The units are equipped with heating facilities. Very fun stay. The staff were so kind to my family, especially my daughter. The room was quite big. The bathrooms are shared, but that includes a traditional Japanese bath, which is very cool!
