Comfortable Accommodations: Onsen Guest House Tsutaya in Hakone offers comfortable rooms with private bathrooms, air conditioning, and mountain views. The greatest hostel I’ve ever stayed in. The location is perfect- it's near the bus stop and pretty close to Open-Air Museum. I also loved the onsen, both of them were clean and nice. The common area is cool and everything you need is there. I absolutely recommend it!

Featuring a garden, Hakone Onsen Yuyado Yamanoshou is set in Hakone, 200 metres from Hakone Botanical Garden of Wetlands. This 3-star ryokan features free WiFi. The whole Ryokan experience is wonderful. Our room was very comfortable and well equipped. They have an option to reserve the Onsen, which gave us the opportunity to be all together for almost an hour. Breakfast is nicely served and it is an experience on its owne.d

Loved it! Such a cute place. Very clean. Stayed in the Sakura room. So close the supermarket, train stations, self service laundry. Great safe location to use as a base to explore Tokyo.

Featuring a terrace with views of Lake Ashi, Hakone・Ashinoko Hanaori offers a soothing hot spring bath and sauna. The property is situated a 2-minute walk from Togendai Station on Hakone Ropeway. Beautiful property, amazing food. Unbelievable private onsen.

Hakone Kowakien Tenyu var opnað í apríl 2017. Boðið er upp á herbergi í japönskum stíl með tatami-gólfum, bað undir berum himni eða heita Shigaraki-keramikhveri undir berum himni. Everything. Especially breakfast.

Boasting rare nigori-yu milky water hot spring baths and , Mount View Hakone offers Japanese-style rooms and Japanese delicacies. A lovely little spa break. First time staying in a ryokan, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The room was charming, bed comfortable and the onsen was amazing. Dinner was great too. I had plans change last minute and the staff was gracious enough to help me out.

Opened in June 2013, The Edo Sakura offers accommodation in a Japanese-style Machiya townhouse located a 5-minute walk from Iriya Subway Station and a 10-minute walk from JR Uguisudani Train Station. Facilities were very nice with traditional japanese feeling while western style bathroom was available in the room. Bigger private bathroom was a great experience. Staff was very nice, considerate and helpful :)

Hakone Suimeiso er staðsett í 3 mínútna göngufjarlægð frá Hakone Yumoto-stöðinni og í 15 mínútna göngufjarlægð frá Sounji-hofinu. Everything was perfect. The view, the open air bath tub with river and hill view, the Japanese style room.

Opened in 1878, The Fujiya Hotel features Meiji Era architecture set in Hakone’s natural beauty. This century-old hotel is so well maintained and upgraded to meet with modern expectation all the time, e.g. multi-type and USB-C charger, washlet toilet seat, UCC's coffee machine with green tea capsules, etc. I went there some 40+ years ago with my parents and all of us were very impressed with the Japanese garden at their backyard. Recently it is even more beautiful with the sakura blossoming both on the main hotel and on the Kikka-So side. You can even enjoy the main garden from your room from Forest Wing. The hotel's night scene with all the lighting are also very beautiful. Japanese breakfast at Kikka-So was so impressive both all the elegant setting and the food.
