Clean and big room - very traditional old Japanese style Ryokan; exactly what we have been looking for. Great location too. The staff was fantastic, providing us with tips for the neighbourhood and some interesting Japanese coffee jelly. There is free coffee, tea and water as well at all times. Be sure to reserve breakfast at least a day in advance. We missed it and unfortunately could not get a taste of it (though it looked fantastic).

A fridge and an electric kettle with green tea bags are included in each room. All rooms come with an en suite bathroom with a toilet and shower, while some rooms have a bathtub. Excellent stay at the hotel, room was great, they let us drop our luggage before having the room as well as after check out. Great staff, very helpful

The air-conditioned rooms at Ryokan Annex Katsutaro feature Japanese futon bedding, and each has a TV and fridge. The attached bathroom includes a bathtub. Great location in Yanaka Tokyo. It’s a wonderful area with a traditional atmosphere. Lots of small handicraft shops and with very many temples and shrines around.

Asakusa Subway Station provides direct access to Ueno, Shibuya and Ginza areas, and also to the Narita and Haneda international airports. The host and the staff went above and beyond for me! They have helped me ship my luggage to the airport, they were very helpful, patient and friendly. The room was amazing, I slept so well there. And the baths… WOW! I would go back in a heartbeat!

Set in Tokyo, 200 metres from Tokyo Origami Museum and 600 metres from Komagatado, Tokyo inn Sakura An offers free bikes and air conditioning. Among the facilities at this property are a 24-hour front desk and full-day security, along with free WiFi throughout the property. The ryokan also offers facilities for disabled guests. The owner Mr Saito was very accommodating. He also provided us with everything that we need. We got snacks to eat for free and he is an amazing host. I love the facilities in the house and the toilet is one of a kind! The place is also near the subway and tourist spots. Walking distance from asakusa temples and shrines and also not far from Tokyo sky tree and sumida aquarium. Very convenient when you are travelling to and fro narita airport as the subway is only few minutes away that will take you directly at the airport.

The property is set 3.5 km from Edo Tokyo Museum, 6 km from Marunouchi Building and 6 km from Yasukuni Shrine. Free WiFi is available. I had a fabulous stay, the owner was so nice and made the experience so wonderful. The rooms are clean and are cleaned daily. Toilets/showers are also kept clean. The showers had strong water pressure. WiFi was really fast. Location is good with a 10 min walk to the train station. I enjoyed the Japanese experience of sleeping in Ryokan. The owner gave many recommendations for Tokyo and also where is the best place for souvenirs rather than touristic locations which I wouldn't have discovered without the local knowledge so I am really thankful for that.

For your comfort, you will find bathrobes and slippers. Hanakohro offered a peaceful and comfortable retreat where time and expenses were never a concern. Everything was taken care of, allowing us to fully unwind and enjoy the experience, which included exploring the unique lounges, garden and buildings on the grounds. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding, making us feel at home.

The units are equipped with heating facilities. very quiet, convenient, across a supermarket and some local eateries. they provide umbrellas for rainy days, very thoughtful.
