Convenient to the Tower of London, the Underground, and a Hop-On, Hop-Off bus stop. There was a safe for valuables. Concierge was very helpful for getting taxis. Breakfast was excellent. They have hot selections, including made-to-order omelets and English breakfast favorites like beans, mushrooms, and fried tomatoes; cereal; pastries, toast, and pancakes; yogurt with toppings; and fruit. Drink selections included orange, apple, and cranberry juice, alongside coffee and tea.

We love history and it is here in spades !!!

We love history and it is here in spades !!! We love the architecture and could spend days wandering around and gazing at the magnificence. We are coming back and staying longer next time. So much to see and so much to do. A little on the crowded side but we have so much more to see. The museum area is vast and the museums are free to enter. The Victoria and Albert museum alone took us 3 days !! now to come back and do the rest.

London is amazing—this is my third visit, and it just keeps getting better. The locals are friendly and more than happy to help out if you need directions or tips. Once you get the hang of the transport system, the whole city opens up to you. You’ll be zipping from one iconic spot to another in no time. Pro tip: Book excursions online. Lines can be brutally long, and many activities sell out well in advance—planning ahead really pays off. Unexpected highlight? The night bus. It’s peaceful, a little eerie (in a good way), and gives you a whole new perspective on the city. Definitely worth trying.

London is a nightmarish city in terms of noise.

London is a nightmarish city in terms of noise. I found it quite unbearable during both of my visits this time, so I'm very much unlikely to ever stay there ever again. If you want peace and quiet, run as far away as possible, that's the only thing I can recommend. Sirens of ambulances or police cars are just horrendous, worse than the toy cars of children, would wake up a whole city. What's the purpose of imposing such nightmare to citizens, I completely fail to understand.

This is a one off trip to show popular London sites and the British Museum to the kids. Otherwise, I avoid London. It is not worth paying loads of money for being in a hectic, noisy, dusty, overcrowded place. Astana, the capital city of Kazakhstan, is a much better option if you are looking for culture, beautiful architecture and well-behaved healthy-looking people. Top-quality ballet productions, musicals, operas are no more than £5 per ticket. Culture is subsidized as it should be. This is why the level of education, propriety and safety is much higher in Kazakhstan and other former Soviet states. It is a shame that the United Kingdom does not allocate sufficient resources to support education and various cultural endeavours for its population.

We stayed in the residences element of the hotel and what a welcomed surprise for central London. The apartments were well furnished, spotlessly clean, spacious and having access by both the hotel and externally via a private door was excellent. The doorman (Danny I seem to recall - London guy) is a great asset and ambassador for the hotel and far excelled in his customer focused service - chatty, informative and keen to please.

The City Prime Apartments were amazing! We regularly stay in London and try to be different by staying in apartments rather than hotels - adds a touch of home. The apartment was a brilliant size, clean, well appointed, great location and the staff - in particular KARIM on reception - were superb! Karim, thank you!!!! You were friendly, professional and made us feel very welcome.
