The location is excellent! You're right in the middle of it all, close to the main square and about a 5 mins walk to the water and the ferry. The hotel is clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was popular, great selection and good fresh coffee made to order. We sat out on the terrace on one of the days. It's also remarkabley quiet even though it's so close to the main street.

We travelled to Amalfi as a group of two friends and whilst Amalfi is lovely, it is a very sleepy town so there isn't much going on in the evenings. Perfect for couples/families but I'd recommend Positano for groups of friends!

Visiting Amalfi in the off-season was a good choice.
Visiting Amalfi in the off-season was a good choice. It felt like a normal town where you could see people work, go to school, shop for groceries and chat with neighbours. The tourist sites were open, parking was easy and we had the beautiful spots all to ourselves - the gardens of the Villla Rufulo in Ravello, the Sentiero degli Dei between Agerola and Nocelle, the black sand beaches, and plenty of restaurants are open.

December was perfect time, not crowded and plenty of shops and restaurants were open, beautiful small town with great views, I rather stay at amalfi than Positano where the whole town was shut down for winter and very over priced, you can take a day trip there on local bus for £3 one way.

Very nice place for a couple of days.
Very nice place for a couple of days. Expensive but not as much as Positano. The roads are crazy and when we were there, they were closed for most part of the day. The ferries were not working due to the weather.
Transportation and parking are a nightmare there.

Amalfi has everything you need for accommodations, food and shopping. It's the Amalfi Coast hub for Ferries and Buses to get you in and out of the area. A very bustling place and overcrowded for the middle of October. In past years the busy season was over by the end of September. Everyone seems to still be making up for the COVID shutdowns. Hoping it calms down in the coming years.
Location views were wonderful, comfort of home including amenities and cleanliness. Wifi was super fast!!! The host Vincenzo was exceptional; he was very accommodating-->provided great recommendations to restaurants and activities as well as options for private activities. Vincenzo also arranged transportation at a great value. Host is very attentive to guests and stays in touch daily. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to enjoy The Amalfi coast. Thank you for everything Vincenzo, you Rock!! Keep up the amazing work :)
The location is amazing - on the rock right above the center of Amalfi, the view is breathtaking. You can sit on the balcony in the room, or in the terrace of the hotel, or lie near the pool and look at Amalfi coast below.
The hotel has its one private beach equipped by sun beds and umbrellas. Shuttle buses are delivering the guests to the beach and to the center of Amalfi and back. Access to the beach is arranged via lift, so you do not need to go down and up along stairs.
The staff is welcome and ready to help.
Most beautiful hotel which completely overwhelmed our expectations. In Amalfi I recommend to stay just there. It is in the very center of the beautiful historical town so you walk just few meters to the beach, restaurants or bus or a ferry. The view from the balcony or restaurant is outstanding and makes you wanna stay there forever. Wish we would book for more than just two nights. The hotel even has a great laundry service which comes in handy when you strolling though amalfi coast for more days.
The experience at Palazzo was incredible for our honeymoon on the amalfi coast. Between the friendliness of staff, the location overlooking the beach, and the small boutique space, it made us feel at home while away from home. Renata at the front desk was an absolute treat alongside Elvira and Maria in the mornings brought the best breakfast and the biggest smile. They also upgraded our room as a nice surprise on our honeymoon. Will be back a thousand times over!
Nice apartment, everything there, heating and warm water worked perfect as we stayed there in February - best time to explore the Amalficoast without crowds. Pogerola is a nice little village with a small alimentari where you get everything you need, nice people and beside steps also a regular bus to Amalfi, so a car isn't necessary. You can also hike directly from Pogerola to a lot of places.
We had a really good time - thanks to Silvana & her family!
Residence Buonocore is an exceptional place from which to visit the Amalfi Coast. Nunzia went above and beyond to assist us during our stay, including with several transportation questions. The residence itself is impeccably maintained and comfortable with a gorgeous view of the coast from the private balcony. Bus stop right outside the door for easily accessing Amalfi and Positano. We feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to stay here!
We had a wonderful stay! Very nice, super clean, nice view and kind staff. Located on top the hill and great to see Amalfi coast from the hill. Good Mediterranean atmosphere hotel. Nice village with a signature church. Great access via bus to the Amarfi down town area. Very nice and tasty breakfast with home made cakes served as a part of buffet menu. So heartwarming. One of the best hotels we stayed while traveling in Italy!
-Gorgeous hotel, with a beautiful view of the Amalfi coast
- It's outside Amalfi city center so it's very quiet and peaceful, about 15min walk from city center or 6 bus stops.
- Bus stop is right in front of the hotel
- All facilities are clean and welcoming
- Breakfast is excellent and plentiful
- Amazing view from the 4th floor, where the lemon garden is located
- Staff is nice and kind
The view is AMAZING! You must know that you do not get amazing views on the Amalfi Coast without STEPS! Villa Rina is no exception. 400 steps up from the street. Thankfully there are porters available, pay the $10/bag and let them carry your bags up!
Once up for the day, eat dinner there! It is delicious! Enjoy the view, relax, take it all in!
Everything about this hotel was awesome. Excellent location near the transport hub of the Amalfi coast (car, bus, or boat). Across the street from the beach and directly next door to the famous church and piazza. Room was spectacular and spacious (steam shower with cool lights, yes please). Restaurant was phenomenal.
This property has no faults, it is absolutely perfect! The view across the Amalfi coast is absolutely stunning, and a must see. The host was so welcoming and helpful when we arrived. We travelled by car and visited Amalfi and Positano via the ferry, the host was so helpful with parking recommendations.
best hotel ever! absolute faultless hotel ,every corner a work of art. Room was superb with views over the amalfi coast. Bed was extra comfy. Staff were fantastic. Breakfast on the terrace was amazing with every possible breakfast dish avail. best omelette i have ever had ! BRAVO BORGO!!!!
Casa Gargano Luigi apartment was absolutely fabulous, best location on the Amalfi Coast!! It was a home away from home and host Olimpia was very helpful. I must also make special mention of Maria who could not do enough to make our stay so comfortable. Thank you Olimpia and Maria.
Good location although going to the hotel takes about 80-90 steps up.
Even though it's right near the hustle and bustle of the town the windows have good sound insulation so it's not noisy inside.
The view of the coast and beach from the room is also beautiful
Christian is a great source of information for planning trips, with bus and boats to explore the Amalfi coast.
The hotel has one side on a quiet square with a great restaurant La Perla.
It is up a little flight of stairs.
Cool room with awesome views from balcony of the ocean and town / coastline. Great Hand painted murals on ceilings. Hotel staff was excellent, food was great. (But They need to add build to order omelets to the breakfast.)
if you are looking for a local experience with very generous and friendly staff this is your hotel to go to. this place offers a spectacular view of Amalfi coast and a nice 15 min walk to center
