The location of the trullo is fantastic. A few steps from the host's office, the main square, the parking lot, and in general the main part of the settlement. It is super romantic to wake up among such beautiful, renovated cottages, step out onto the street, and wander through the alleys. The accommodation is large enough for two people. The hot tub is perfect. The hotel's option to have breakfast in a nearby restaurant is a good solution, the place is cozy, the staff is nice, the breakfast is excellent. What else can I say? I wish I could go back tomorrow!

Alberobello is a special town.
Alberobello is a special town. There is really nowhere else quite like it. That said, it is clearly a town that caters to and derives much of its economy from tourists. I don't think a visit during high season would be as enjoyable as during early April, when I was there. There is much to see in the surrounding area as well, so one does not need to spend more than two days exploring the town itself, which is compact and easy to navigate on foot.

The Trulli are wonderful to see during the day and at night they are magical. Plenty of eating options too. We hired a private driver from Bari Airport and were dropped off at the door of our stay in Alberobello. As we had a two night stay - we had time to walk/hike around the countryside close to Alberobello.

The accommodation and location was perfect.
The accommodation and location was perfect.
The downside was that Booking.com advised there was 6 Euro daily parking or 2 Euro per hour however that is not correct. Parking in Alberobello is paid parking only for visitors at 2 Euro per hour between 9am and midnight so daily cost for parking was 30 Euro per day. As we stayed 2 full days it cost us 60 Euro which was not expected. We expected to pay 12 Euro as per booking.com advice.

Alberobello is a magical place of trulli that's easy to navigate. We stayed outside town (in a trulli) but went into town in the evening for dinner and to see the town by night. Dinner was great, but the town is pretty quiet, so don't worry about getting accommodation right in town.

Roberto met us at the door and showed us through the trullo.
Roberto met us at the door and showed us through the trullo. He was incredibly patient and accommodating even with our limited English. There is so much care and attention to detail here, and the breakfast was beautiful too. They even catered to Coeliac disease! We will recommend this to everyone, and can’t wait to stay here again!

Definitely worth checking out for the uniqueness of the trulli. However, it’s unfortunate that they’ve basically turned the Rione Monti neighbourhood into a kind of circus, with all of the tacky souvenir shops. If visiting, I highly recommend checking out Rione Aia Piccola instead - this is the eastern part of the town where locals are actually living in trulli and there are no souvenir shops. Also, one or two nights is more than enough. If staying longer, consider doing a day trip to Locorotondo or Martina Franca.
Best location in Alberobello, near one of the most beautiful streets of trulli houses, yet quiet. Fantastic views over the town from the roof terrace. Lovely old stone building, spacious room. My double room was really a self-contained apartment, with a private entrance and a complete kitchen, also a wonderful fireplace that looked like real fire but ran automatically on gas and kept the room very cosy. Good hot shower. Friendly personnel.
This is one of my favorite places I’ve ever stayed in all of Italy (and I’ve traveled extensively through the country many times). The owner/property manager is so sweet. There is an espresso and tea maker in the room, and lots of provided snacks and goodies (juice, prosciutto, cheese, bread, cookies, croissants, etc). It is centrally located and overall just perfect. 10/10 would recommend
We loved the experience of staying in Dimore Barsento. We felt like having a charming home in Italy. The attention and the care with all details were special! Notably, the owner welcomed us super late at night and took us to an open restaurant to have some food, waited and later took us personally to the charming trullo. There, we found several delightful and unexpected treats. Marvelous!
This traditional Puglian Trullo house is a tranquil sanctuary in the heart of Alberobello. A beautiful stone interior keeps the Trullo cool, while the tasteful and spacious interior make it a calm oasis after long days of sightseeing. We loved the fig tree in the courtyard, but most of all the kindness and hospitality of our host, Daniele. Thank you for these special memories!
we had a lovely stay in this little trulli house. the property was not far from the main trulli village and we were close to restaurants, cafes and a laundromat. breakfast every morning was at an off site cafe and it was the best breakfast we’ve had since arriving into Italy. the host was very attentive and helped us to get to the train station during heavy rain.
It was a really nice experience to sleep in a traditional Trulli house. The staff members of the Tipico Resort were super friendly and gave us useful tips for sightseeing in- and outside of Alberobello. We also tried one of the recommended restaurants, but you have to reservate to get a table.
Parking nearby the centre costs about 6€ a day, so thats okay.
Very comfortable, clean typical “Trulli” near Alberobello in small complex. Set off from the main Alberobello to Locorotondo road. Breakfast- continental plus cheese and eggs, served in our room. Very friendly, helpful staff. Closest restaurant 500m away offering simple but good regional food. Alberobello and Locorotundo very close.
The place is beatiful, when we stayed in Alberobello, we had the fortune to be the only guests, so the whole place was for us. It has a really nice terrace for chilling. The location is exceptional, Justo a few blocks away from pibe of the prettiest trulli in town.
Nice little apartment in center of action in Alberobello. At end of the main square. Beautiful patios amongst the trulli roofs. Decent sized bedrooms. AC in living room. Mariangela was helpful with restaurants, checkin was easy.
Unbeatable location right next to the trulli. Characteristic hotel with an interesting Chapel built in. Fantastic staff at the reception and breakfast. Stella was a real star! Very good breakfast. Street parking close by.
The property was in a fabulous location & Stefano was a great host ! We spent 2 days in Alberobello & our accommodation had an original Trulli roof which was amazing!
Would recommend this place !
