Perfect host 👏🏽 all instructions were very clear The cottage is clean, nicely decorated, comfortable, and very well equipped 👍🏽 What you see on the photos is what you find when you get there. It is located in a quiet and safe area It was raining when we arrived on the 1st day so we could not use the outdoor terrace and jacuzzi but we hope to come back later in the warmer season.

Located in Orthevielle and within a one-hectare garden, Maison Basta is set in a house from the 18th century. Guests are invited to the furnished terrace or in the outdoor swimming pool.

Met by the owner and her dog who is very welcoming! There is plenty of parking outside the property. The pool was refreshing after a long drive and asking for extra towels was no trouble. The property is in a lovely quiet location yet in close proximity to the main road. I asked for a kettle in the room which, was provided on entry. We asked for the earlier breakfast than normal as we were traveling through and needed to get on the road early. This was no trouble as all. The breakfast was basic but the bread, jam and yogurt was all homemade, which was really refreshing and a nice touch. Loved all the unique furniture and trinkets. Loved the large family room with 3 different aspect windows so plenty of fresh air through the room.

Audrey and Baptiste were the perfect hosts. The place is beautiful, perfect for kids too. There is so much space and a great feeling of freedom. The perfect place for the whole family to relax and reconnect. Tasty breakfast and dinner available with local products in a beautifully made outdoor eating area. None of us wanted to leave and we sincerely hope that we'll be able to visit again.

We stayed here on our journey back to the UK and we were elated with not only this property but Claire who owns it. The family room was big, clean, modern and perfect for the 3 of us. Claire was exceptional and very accommodating as we arrived later than anticipated and even the very early start we had the next day. Would highly recommend staying here.
