Everything - extremely clean and comfortable rooms and bathrooms and beautiful classy decor (we had interconnecting rooms with a lovely terrace). Beds were very comfortable. The indoor sitting area was lovely to have a drink as was the gardens. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The Italian restaurant next door was some of the best Italian food we have ever had. We won't forget our stay here for the night.

Pontorson is really a cute little town with lots of cafes and restaurants. It is a very convenient place to stay to visit Le Mont St. Michel if not coming with your own car, although the local buses have quite limited schedules for getting there and back. Still, it's quite sufficient for a typical visit to Le Mont.

We train from Paris to Rennes with connecting train from Rennes to Pontorson . When we arrived at Rennes found out our connecting train to Pontorson was cancelled due to the rail strikes. Thanks to SNCF they issued us fresh tickets for a soon to be departing train to Del de Bretagne. SNCF at Del de Bretagne arranged a taxi to take us our B&B, VILLA Mons. Thank you SNCF.

Small but cute city...
Small but cute city... They should have more buses to and from the Mont St. Michel. If you're in the mood to, the distance is walkable, but you have to do it by the side of a small busy road. If you want to dine downtown, check for reservations, restaurants are usually full.
Sibylle is a very kind and helpful owner, she placed us a reservation at a superb seafood restaurant, organized bikes at a great and friendly bike store and provided us with great advice on what to do and what not to do if you want to visit le mont saint michel. the house is a historic, renovated trouvaile sourounded by a big piece of land, friendly animals & 2 big kind dogs. breakfast is all home made and delicious. this was a perfect trip, in a beautiful part of France, not over-touristic. thank you very much sibylle and familly.
An elegant and historical house, with a wonderful garden and an aristocratic air.
The hosts thought about every detail before our coming, so that it seemed that we were invited by our best friends to visit their manor.
Breakfast was really royal, it contained a lot of options, covering all tastes, salty, sweet, and healthy

We had a very nice stay at Gites Mont Blanc.
The room was very clean and spacious and we could really feel the love and efforts put into the renovation of the place.
The apartment is well furnished and kids friendly.
Indications to get in were timely and clear.
The location is ideal for a day trip to Mont Saint Michel ans has all conveniences around such as supermarkets, boulangeries, restaurants, and pharmacies.
Very nice rustic environment, good location, if you are with the car. I really don't understand the complaints here about the smell - it's real countryside surrounding. I enjoyed the authenticity of it really a lot. The historic hillock with an old mill and splendid view to the Mont Saint Michel is nearby. Very good value to the money
+ traditional building within walking distance (2,5 - 3 km) from Mont Saint Michel
+ I received a huge a room on the first floor with view over the field with sheeps and Mont Saint Michel in the distance (I did not expect this, so it was a great suprise)
+ welcoming host, free parking, good value comapred to other hotels in the area
We adored our stay here. The common spaces were beautifully traditional and very well maintained, while the bedroom and private bath were large and featured modern amenities. Breakfast was delicious and the staff warm and welcoming. The house is a short and beautiful drive to Mont Saint Michel. We would happily stay here again.
Perfect , budget friendly Gite near mont saint Michel . You can really see it in the distance from the street. Check in was smooth and the little house had everything we needed. Simple accommodations but very comfortable. Yes , you can see sheep and horses from the back yard if you’re lucky :)
Nice home accommodation with a beautiful garden. Valerie was an ideal and caring host. A continental breakfast was sufficient, good coffee, fresh croissants. Good wifi. Possibility to use kitchen and refrigerator. Valeri gave advice on how to visit Mont Saint Michel, restaurants etc.
