The village center is up on the mountain, which isn’t that easy to reach by any means but by car. We rented e-mountain bikes in the center which was very good. You’d be better off with other nearby villages for grocery shopping.

Stayed in Hotel Post Kappl which was in an excellent location next to the Spar Supermarket and ski bus stops. There was also a great cafe nearby called the Cafe Perdu which served great food. The hotel also had an excellent restaurant and served an exceptional breakfast. Highly recommend the hotel and its location in a very quiet resort. Did not ski in Kappl but did visit Sunny Mountain Restaurant on the slopes which was lovely. Skied in Ischgl which was easily accessible from Kappl via the ski bus. Ischgl has many more restaurants and the taxi from there to Kappl costs around 25 euros. Kappl ski school really geared up for younger children.
The apartment is amazing, super comfy, big, clean, well maintained, everything was there, the kitchen is well equipped, we really enjoyed our stay. The showers are incredible!
The apartment is part of the Dorfstadl Hotel, which is in general not a problem, you can use all facilities of the hotel.
The location is perfect, the small town center is 2 min to walk, the cable car 10 min a steep way down. From the balcony you have a nice view, we just didn't like the permanent water sound from a small creek directly in front.
The views were incredible, the kitchen was very clean with good supplienses and the storages for skis were nice. There was also a well working wifi which was not mentioned in the booking description. You also had the chance to ask bread and pastry from the host who delivered them in the morning from the local bakery. The Kappl slopes were very close so that you could walk 5min up on the road to access them. The host and his family were super kind and gave a lot of good local advice. The check out time was also flexible.
The sauna upstairs is exceptionally nice, I used it every evening! Breakfast was terrific and included made to order omelettes, fresh made juice and smoothies, and a big selection of everything else. Location is close to the bus stop, the grocery market, and easy walking distance to the Kappl ski piste. Free bus to Ischgl is very convenient. Lively restaurant and bar downstairs in the evenings. My single room was spacious, had a nice balcony and was very clean and well appointed.
We liked everything :)
1. Location is great for those who came for skiing - you can get to Kappl resort by foot or super quickly by bus, to Ischgl it takes a bit longer - 15 minutes - but a big advantage is that the bus stop is one of the first on the route and you'll definitely fit in the bus :)
2. The apartment itself is great, a perfect option for a group of 3-4 people.
3. Apartment owners are super friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was great, morning staff in the restaurant was owsome. The transfer to and from Ischgl was very comfort and driver was helpful. The linen was extremly comfortable. Room has been cleaned twice a day. You can take an apple or candies for free - nice. At the end of our stay we have to leave the hotel at 6 a.m., kitchen has made a breakfast box and one of the drivers has bring us (to the garadge) a hot caffe - very nice.
The apartment was very conveniently located, especially fo skiers, very close to the ski resorts in Kappl and Ischgl and at the same time in a peaceful and quiet place. There is a ski bus stop opposite the house .The apartment was very clean and functional ( attention to detail and practicality with guests' need and comfort in mind is evident). The owner is very nice and friendly .
Host was amazing ,helped us so much with every thing ,including refering us to where to rent skies ,made the order for us. Fast comunication.
House it self is also very nice.
Matresses are very comfterable.
If you ski in kappl there is a ahort pass 20 metter walk and you are on the ski course
Very nice family driven hotel. Cosy decorated, lovely dining room, fantastic salad bar with daily various options including soups, great food quality and friendly staff. The owners made effort to collect us from ski lift with flexibility. We can highly recommend.
Hotel is in the nice location, next to the cable car, restaurants, hiking or bicycle paths. The parking was directly next to the property and it is free of charge. The room was very clean, comfy with the quite nice view. The breakfast was really good.
The apartment is lovely and adequately situated super close to both the kappl bergbahne and the skibus stop to go to Ischgl. The hosts were very nice and helpful. The view from the common area is absolutely gorgeous! We absolutely recommend.
We only appreciated 2 things:
1. The location: the appartment is situated in Kappl, 10 kilometers away from Ischgl.
2. The dimension of the appartments (2 and 8) was quite generous.
Good breakfast, location is near Kappl, see and Ischgl, with a bus stop just behind the door of the hotel and also available parking to go by car if you prefer,
