Our hostess, Jo, was very welcoming and made our stay very pleasant. She was happy to spend time with us and was always pleasant. She made some good recommendations regarding places to visit. The room was very comfortable and nicely furnished with garden views and a good size. The bathroom had all the facilities we needed and was a good size. Everywhere was very clean. The breakfast was freshly made tasty and filling. We were sad to leave.
Hay on Wye was our favourite place, only 6 miles away. A lovely country town with a great individual shops and a relaxing
atmosphere.

The location was a little tricky to find but in a beautiful tranquil setting. We were well looked after and the breakfasts were delicious. They even provided bowls of rice for my dog to eat. Advice was given on local walks and restaurants and we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Nice to have a nice pub to eat close by and other reasonable places not far away. It's a quiet pretty village with an interesting old church and the 'Arthur's Stone ' ancient burial place nearby. Very handy for gorgeous walks in the Brecon Beacons.
The breakfast was excellent. We also had a very nice evening meal and drinks at the very friendly and close Pandy Inn.
The room was very spacious, clean and peaceful. It also had a very nice large shower. There was good car parking right next to our room. There were lovely views from the rear garden and breakfast area to a field full of wild flowers. There are also some very nice walks around the Dorstone area that have great views as well.
Magdalena made us very welcome and we enjoyed our chats with her as she cooked our lovely breakfasts.
Greeted on arrival, shown round, asked when we would like breakfast and answered questions about where we could get food that evening. We were left to it for the rest of the stay, until breakfast was served in the morning. We ate in the room overlooking the garden. Perfect work stay, something different from a faceless hotel. I'm sure it would be even more enjoyable to explore the area out of work.
I have stayed in hundreds of B&B’s and hotels and this is up there with the very best. It’s spacious, pretty, comfy, fun, relaxing, quiet, friendly and really reasonably priced.. Magda the host is superb, makes you really welcome does a good breakfast too.. there is lots of wildlife around (ducks, chickens etc) it’s just idyllic
This b and b was perfect for a romantic break. The design of the hotel was wonderful. You could smell the real wood throughout! Beautiful bathroom with a powerful shower and the bed was huge! Breakfast was homecooked and delicious.
