Great shops and a lovely prom. when the weather is nice!
Close enough to Lake District and Blackpool to use as a base.

Some of it has been regenerated but it still needs a lot of money investing to bring it up to scratch.
There are very few places to eat at night.
Pubs and bars are run down.
Hopefully the Eden Project will inject new life into it.

Morecambe is in poor shape.
Morecambe is in poor shape. Boarded up and derelict buildings abound. Much of it has the feel of rougher areas of Manchester rather than a coastal resort almost in the Lake District. It also seems too spread out. Instead of the main things being centred around one area, they seem to be dotted about here and there, in a strange, disjoint way.

Quiet and relaxing place to visit, the promenade is very clean and it's brilliant for building sandcastles and playing on the beach. Less touristy than Blackpool.
Can eat chippy on the promenade watching the sunset.
WONDERFUL we stay in Morecambe 4/5 time's a year for many years because we like the people and things to do in the area so have stayed in in many hotels and guest houses so I would say that we have a good knowledge on what is on offer in the town by far Sea Lynn is by far the best we have used in a great position good free parking rooms spacious and very very clean for the price you pay excellent we will definitely be returning well done to all the staff
Sea view , comfortable bed , facilities in the bedroom , ensuite . Lift to my room , offer to take me to my room . Food was very good quality, and there is a plant based option . The Chefs are of a high standard, Pianist while the diners are eating was a nice touch . The Hotel only has 44 bedrooms so it feels homely . Attentive staff who smile and do their best for you . All the residents appeared relaxed and happy with the accommodations.
When we entered our room we were greeted with a spectacular view of Morecambe bay. We could have spent all day looking at the view, watching the tide come in and out and beautiful sunsets.
Our room was clean and comfortable. For breakfast there was a good selection of cereals, fruit and yogurts before a full tasty cooked breakfast.
Our hosts Trudie and Alan were helpful and friendly. I would certainly recommend this small hotel.
We did not have great expectations of Morecambe - it was a convenient stop on the way north to Scotland. However, the location of the hotel overlooking the bay for a sunset drink and evening meal was the highlight of our whole trip. The staff were very welcoming and the rooms were modern and spotless. There was a good choice of food which was of a high standard. We will definitely be staying there again when we venture north.
Really friendly staff, room lovely and clean, very comfy bed. Had a meal in the hotel which was delicious and a great breakfast, this is going to be our hotel of choice from now on, whenever we go to Morecambe, fab location, The platform music venue is just a short walk away, which is the reason we go to Morecambe. And it's a lovely place for a walk along the prom. Definitely recommend 👌
Very easily accessible, close to excellent amenities. Very clean and extremely well equipped. We were staying overnight for a family funeral in Morecambe with three branches of the family attending from Scotland and Leeds. It was an ideal base and Mark was extremely accommodating and very informative. Tea, Coffee, Sugar, Milk and Bottled Water was also provided.
Owner was very welcoming and his staff were very nice. The room was lovely, comfortable and clean. Hotel is right on the seafront and dining room looks out onto Morecambe Bay. Buffet style English breakfast with continental options too. Breakfast was good quality, very nice indeed. Excellent value for money, will definitely be coming back
Lovely little place to stay!
The rooms were immaculate and spacious and we had a great view of Morecambe Bay.
Although some rooms were still being renovated, this did not affect our stay.
The hotel is in a great location and the staff were welcoming on arrival and throughout.
This hotel was the perfect place for a stressed out teacher to spend two nights alone in half term. Everything was considered from start to finish. Particular highlights: the overnight oats at breakfast, the little treats replaced in the room every day and the warm bath.
The hotel was only a 10 minute walk from the shops etc. We stayed in a pleasant twin room. It didn't have sea views but was fine for our needs. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable.
Breakfast was good, with a range of choices.
Staff were very helpful.
Caravan was clean and tidy with all the things you need like bedding, hand wash, washing up liquid, toilet roll etc. Nice small site, kids enjoyed it. Good communication from owner of caravan, will definitely use again if heading to Morecambe.
Very clean and Modern looking, Right by the seafront, Subway, Burger King and Shops.
The Royal Hotel who runs these rooms is just opposite for food and drinks and entertainment.
These rooms are more modern than the ones in the Hotel.
Great breakfast with lots of choice. Comfortable bed & pillows. Comfortable guest lounge. Owners very friendly. Own front door key so could come and go when I wanted. No restrictions on when you were in the hotel
the bedroom (first floor, overlooking the sea)was very spacious the bathroom had plenty of room, the decor through out the hotel/guest house was immaculate.the breakfast was perfect ,cooked fresh when ordered
The hotel is in a good location with parking no issue (though there was street parking too). View from the room over the bay was lovely. Room was spacious and the bathroom a good size. I would stay again.
Exceptional view of Morecambe Bay. Everything we needed was provided - towels, tea & coffee, snacks & water. Bed was very comfortable & the wifi worked well. Breakfast was better than most hotels!
Highlight was the view of Morecambe Bay from our room. Rather quaint, old-fashioned, seaside hotel with evening cabaret entertainment by a solo performer. Friendly staff.
