Loved all of the little touches than Han had gone to the effort to make. Welcome biscuits, basic supplies like tea and coffee provided on arrival. Lovely welcome on the peg board. Han made sure to message to ensure we had arrived ok and checked in throughout the trip to ensure we weren't having any issues.

Breakfast good, The Location was good but only 1 seat in Large double room. No place for suitcase, only on floor. I am 79, very difficult to reach down to suit case. Rooms on second floor, no lift.. Same price for 2 rooms, one with sea view, the second at back overlooking scaffolding.

Pleasant town with an interesting history. The local people were friendly and helpful. There was a good corner shop very close by with larger supermarkets a short drive away. Pembroke Dock is a commercial port and ferry terminal for Ireland. It is totally seperate from Pembroke town which was interesting particularly with the castle. The Beggars Reach hotel was across the river from Pembroke in the village of Burton. We ate in the hotel and the Jolly Sailor Pub by the old ferry landing stage. Additionally, on a personal note - I checked in on a day where the weather around Pembroke Dock was a bit dodgy (a storm was forecasted). Very nice and friendly staff, even drove our vehicle around to the parking area ( which was very small). No elevator and three stories, so be prepared. Rooms were fine, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was cooked to order and well presented. If you like to dine "al fresco" they have a nice overflow, outdoor dining area. inside dining was a bit restricted but well worth waiting for.
