Stayed their for only one night as we were picking up a cruise the next day. Everything was good and the service was exceptional. As two senior women travelling I was very happy that the resort provided a wonderful person to pick us up at the airport and then he took us to the cruise port the next morning. I would definately stay their again. Also we arrived late evening so most eating places were closed so the owner made us an amazing pizza. This was a wonderful jesture as we were both tired from a long travel day and just wanted to relax. This was much appreciated.

Bahia Principel Bougainville adult only resort was a very comfortable reasonably priced resort. Like the concept of a large “load” activity pool and equally large a quiet pool both serving good drink selection.
And service. The food was very good in both buffets and a la cart restaurants.we like the Bahia app through which to easily make reservations for restaurants. IF you are a golfer the PGA Ocean course was great!

La Romana is a town with lots of shopping malls, heavy traffic, construction sites so quite noisy place.
Getting around is difficult unless you have a car.
We enjoyed the stay inside our accommodation, did not see much of the town.

I don't give a damn if the hotel is compliant with the green idiots! I wanted someone to help me get a comfortable mattress topper, to no avail! Maybe they should invest in hiring people speaking English
Great location and 24 hours security, Enrique is the best host ever. Hotel has nice outlay with pool, bar and des decorated area around. The breakfast was included and it was big and delicious and different every day. For your convenience there is room service for breakfasts or if you order something from restaurant. The restaurant menu has nice variety dishes with affordable prices. Right on the corner there is guagua stop so you can get to everywhere in La Romana for 40 DP or get the uber if you have luggage
That was an excellent stay !
Very good personel, kind. Good selection of drinks. Good ambiance. You can eat at 5am lol ! Excellent food.
The only thing I can reproach is that after multiple messages they never answered about transport from aeroport. So, we ended up getting taxi (twice as expensive as official transport)
So, for everything looking, go to Bahia website and look for transfer. I found it too late ☹
Again this hotel worth being visited and stayed in !
What I didn’t like? Everything way exceeded our expectations. I can’t give enough praised to our maid and cook, Diana and Wendy; they were the best ever, very friendly and their service was 5 stars, always available 24/7!!! The house itself is not modern or recently renovated but everything was clean, on point and confortable. Location of the house is prime, very close to Minitas Beach, we felt very safe…Ohhhh and their breakfast service was outstanding!!!
Simona is greatly located, near the beach and many places to eat at. Breakfast was very nicely served in the terrace, including a great coffee, served a few minutes before eating. Loved the tips of what to do and where to eat that where given to us when we checked in. Would highly recommend the tour options they offer, as they have the best price we could find, compared to deals online or through other hotels we asked information from.
the owners are very nice, an Italian family from parents to children who have given us all the possible support and how beautiful the hotel is just like the photos, even more beautiful because they have added other corners where it is pleasant to spend time and always listen to good music at the volume never annoying there are two pools and one is a huge jacuzzi. How wonderful. the price then, in this period is super cheap. Thank you.
Very clean, alive is much better as on the photos here, cozy and comfortable. The bed was comfortable too , there is a little terrace , opportunity for a parking, very hell apartment and for one person absolutely enough. And one more time - very clean, I will book again if I need. A washmashine is there too (normally not often to be there in a lot of such apartments in La Romana)
The resort is very special in the way its designed and attended to, very clean ans very comfortable, very trendy with the Marina and all the villas and restaurants. It has great facilities and looks. The contrasts between La Romana, where you eat street food for 3 USD and then pay 4 times more for a drink within the hotel, is very viable and obvious in this place
This little, lovely hotel is located some 150 m from the Cozy Caleta beach - on the outskirts of La Romana city. Gua-gua (minibus) will take you there for just 40 pesos, in the walking distance you will find bakery, grocery and other little shops. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the included breakfast very tasty.
I recommend the hotel el dorado, a beautiful place where you can go for a weekend and get out of your comfort zone and be at peace, relaxed, and be able to rest in foolish tranquility and a good view of the patio, very natural sound of the animals the jacuzzi pool was 10/10 ⭐️recommended to live an unforgettable experience
Simple and clean budget Hotel in the heart of the busy city of La Romana. Equipped with a comfortable bed, shower with warm water, aircon, fan, TV and private parking. Staff is very friendly and helpful. WiFi is free of charge and working well in the room. Credit cards accepted. There is a little corner shop next door.
The hotel owner helped us book a trip to Saona island with taxi pick-up from the hotel.
Cool breakfast on roof top, where you can view the city from the top. Actually, you're in the middle of the town, you feel the local vibe with the noise of the schools, you see the trucks full with pineapples supplying the shops.
Location is a little out,but i think thats good, can hop a local bus for cheap.la romana itself is not my cup of tea.main area blaring stereos ruining youre eating experience.the owner of the villas is a very friendly man, wine connoisseur, and a wealth of help there.its a quiet retreat.
Very nice hotel I recomend to everyone.Best hospitality ,room very nice, food on breakfast very tasty.,staff very kind and helpfull.Thank you very much to menager mr.Jovanni ,most kind menager I meet ever.He is always eger to help to any guest any time
