The place was clean, welcoming, well furnished and very well located for our needs. We went there by car and at some point we entered the wrong location in the GPS, so as good tourists, we got lost but the host was very helpful, re-sending us the location and following up with us until we arrived. A huge thanks for the nice stay.

Great location, just in the heart of the local community. My wife liked it very much to walk around. It takes only 10 minutes to walk to the port where I worked on a ship. Kitchen is fully equipped with all utensils needed for cooking.

Lavrion is a pleasant town that seems to have been spruced...
Lavrion is a pleasant town that seems to have been spruced up quite a lot in recent years. While well off the tourist trail - most travellers on pass through to catch a ferry - it is a nice place to chill and relax. There a lots of nice cafes and restaurants serving authentic food. You won't find any "tourist menu" posted outside. If you have a bit of time to spare, the small archeological museum is worth visiting as its tells the interesting history of the area.

I have absolutely nothing negative to describe about our stay there! Everything was as described with more amenities than even expected! Wonderful history and an abundance of archaeological sites...
Wonderful history and an abundance of archaeological sites nearby. Ancient Thorikos and the Archaeological Museum of Lavrion are both very worthwhile places to visit. Swimming in the Aegean near the theatre of Thorikos on a deserted beach was also a very special experience. Bathing in the clear waters of the Aegean was a perfect tonic after a morning's visit to the fascinating site of Thorikos.

Close to Cape Sounion and Thorikos ancient site. Lively town centre. It was difficult to get information about the local buses, bus stops not easily identified and there is no information about timetables, so for those of us who prefer not to travel by car it was difficult to get information. Internet sites not reliable about bus routes and times.
