My daughters and I loved Hamilton.

My daughters and I loved Hamilton. The stores downtown are quaint and charming. The restoration is so well done. The people couldn't be nicer. We loved the historical buildings. My father was born in Hamilton in 1912 and we could easily imagine that time period. It's a beautiful area. I wish we had had time to view the governor's mansion and the historical village outside of town. Oh, and the Coffee Cup Cafe--amazing!

Hamilton is the largest city in the Bitterroot Valley.

Hamilton is the largest city in the Bitterroot Valley. It can act as a central hub for all of the outdoor experiences that are available up and down the Bitterroot Valley. In Hamilton, there are plenty of supermarkets, restaurants, and activities. It would be a good base of operations for a great Western Montana vacation.

We were searching for a home rental after finding a shop space that fit what we needed. No luck on rentals unfortunately. They are hard to come by in Hamilton. Town is quaint and people are very nice. Weather seemed to be mild compared to other parts of Montana. The whole Valley seems pertected by the harsh snow conditions. It's the banana belt. Beautiful mountain views 360°. Masula is only 30 mins and offers many shopping options. Roads are well maintained during snow fall and seem very safe to drive. Down home feel for those tired of big city life or blue state madness.

Not our first time to visit friends in Hamilton, and it has never disappointed us. We like the wide variety of restaurants, the ease of getting around, the beauty of the surroundings. Breakfast at the hotel was great, and we enjoyed lunch at a downtown small cafe where both the food and the service was excellent. Loved the very well done Daly museum and a visit to the dammed lake and rec area south of the city. On each visit we have found a wide and interesting variety of things to do, and I would highly recommend Hamilton for all ages.

It is in a beautiful area, just a few miles from town. Nice patio to relax & look at the view of Hamilton & mountains. It was so peaceful that we laid on blankets at night on the grass & star gazed…so many shooting stars. It had plenty of room for 3 generation girl trip for mom’s birthday. Nice to have water in fridge & S&C in the shower. We could even park our car in the garage when the sun was heating it up. We would have loved to stay longer so will stay again & highly recommend it.

Nice, clean facility. It was hot when we arrived, nearly 100 degrees. In the A/C lobby there was ice cold water available. The ice machine off the lobby was convenient to load our cooler the next day. The fitness room was nice and clean. Good to get a workout in after a day of sitting while driving. Good restaurant across the street and other options nearby. Staff friendly and helpful. Nice buffet breakfast, adequately supplied. New fluffy towels in bath.

No breakfast. Was supposed to have handicapped room. Put me upstairs w/ no elevator. Elec outlets did not work for my CPAP so had to sit in a chair to sleep. Dirty room- filthy. 2nd day transferred us downstairs to a room that the plumbing was plugged up - wouldn’t drain and could not shower. $225 a night for this. I have stayed in hotel rooms for 50 years and this was the worst dive ever. Filthy, filthy, filthy!

The house was clean and well equipped. It was very roomy for 2 people and could easily handle 4. It has a nice view of the valley and a big deck to enjoiy it. There is even a garage for your car. It is located a few miles from Hamilton and the many recreational activities in the area. The support and attention from the host was outstanding. It is located in a gated community.

Our family room was huge. Loved that. The hotel did smell when you first walked in but the room was fine. The morning staff was so sweet and helpful. The food area is not huge but she was so tentative clearing peoples plates for them. It served it’s purpose for a place to sleep for us.
