We had a hire car and the hotel had free car parking. The rooms are very well priced (we are 2 friends, decided to get a room each). Breakfast is €5 but there is a supermarket downstairs and a bustling Japanese restaurant.
The rooms have been fairly recently renovated, they’re big and functional.
It’s a short walk to train station (we went to Modena, only 7 minutes away, visited the Enzo Ferrari museum which was excellent). it’s close to a fabulous restaurant Osteria Viadelante which was superb!
It is hard to describe how amazing this place is. From the outside it looks like another building in Rubiera, but once inside, it is transformed into first class Swiss establishment. The furnishings look new and are well thought out. Breakfast was great. Finally, our host Nadia was very attentive to our needs. Calling this a B&B is not giving it the credit it deserves.
The hotel is easily accessible both by car and by walking from the train station. The staff were friendly and polite, they took care to make sure to show us what we needed and went the extra mile by arranging transport for us after a concert at the arena in Reggio Emilia. Breakfast was simple but good it consisted of croissants, cereal and various juices.
It should be 5 star hotel. Place is fantastically done up and have luxury feel through out the full experience. I don’t normally leave feedback but this place is really something special. Owner is attention to detail specialist and super friendly and price was great value to.
Big thanks and highly recommended 🙏
If you like these old style hotels, with analog phones to call the reception, with tranquil room colors and with very comfortable beds as I do, this hotel is for you. As a bonus comes also the excellent breakfast from their Michelin restaurant. There is a possibility to park the car nearby.
i can honestly say this is one of the most beautiful hotels I have stayed in, and I stay in many. fantastic friendly and helpful staff, spotlessly clean.
Absolutely fantastic.
can’t wait to return and next time will be spending a few nights.
It was not only the hotel it was the whole experience, it was all perfect starting from the service, through the comfort, design, even the smell! :) You can see the passion and heart put in this place. I strongly recommend!
Great restaurant — really wonderful dinner and excellent breakfast. Rubiera is a very nice little town. Centralized with easy access to areas around Modena and Bologna. Beautiful old hotel with years of charm and character.
It's one of the most beautiful hotels I've ever been and I travel A LOT. The room was big, comfy bed, good shower, AC working fine. The breakfast was superb, delicious. The town is
Room was clean, stores all.around the hotel and a Nice pizzeria Just across the street. No problem that we are the pizza's in the room. Manager was very polite!
