Speaking as a woman in her 20s, Paris is so majestic.
Speaking as a woman in her 20s, Paris is so majestic. I loved every minute of it and I already went twice. The architecture, the streets, the opera, the parks and of course her majesty the Eiffel Tower. Some people think that Paris is over-rated and some other people can't get enough of it. If you love fashion, aesthetics, art, theater, taking pictures, history, museums then you're going to so have fun in Paris. Great food can be found too! Even in one of those restaurants in the Eiffel Tower itself. The steak entrecôte is also worth it, but frog legs - are not for everyone!

Stay away from tourist sites!
Stay away from tourist sites! Thousands of person only there because someone told them to be there, not because they even had any reverence for Sacre Coeur or the Louvre! My cousin said they "went to the Louvre just to see the Mona Lisa, but then it was just this little thing..." I looked up Montmartre toward the cathedral and all I saw was 1000 people sitting on the steps watching acrobats. I left.
Foraging on my own, I found sites and museums I had never heard of and loved them. One must constantly watch for bikes and scooters. Corners are highly dangerous as anything on wheels can come flying around them no matter who has the actual rightofway.
French trains are easy to manage for day trips.
1 year of college French 60 years ago still allowed me to operate in stores every day. Get Google translate and then look up possible words you will need before you go out.
NOTE: I did not go to even one of the "Popular places in Paris!

Sight seeing is what it’s all about.
Sight seeing is what it’s all about. Have a wine bottle opener handy and grab some wine, cheese and bread and sit in front of the attractions. Have one fancy dinner out and eat like the French, plan to sit for hours and take it in. Boat tour at night plan it to be in route after 9 pm so you can see the Eiffel Tower in all her glory.

Love Paris, no matter what!!
Love Paris, no matter what!! I find more French people in all walks of life speak English more and friendlier. Only problem is Taxi. Drivers were rough, not courteous and non speaking English. I stopped using after couple of times and started to call Uber, which was a great surprise!! They were efficient, reliable, friendly, professional and cheaper!! I am so happy to know Uber is freely accessible in Paris.
Paris is my second home that I cannot possibly write all the charms here but it is always beautiful and exciting. Visited pharmacies, art supply shop, Monoprix, Samaritane, Lafayette. Found and bought many skincare products and out of this world cookies and chestnuts paste at Monoprix. I can see why all my friends in other EU countries look up Paris and yarning to visit. Paris is the city of beauty, excitement and excellence above all the other cities.

Paris is a phenomenal city.
Paris is a phenomenal city. Beautiful architecture, plenty of green spaces, and so many places to eat with a wide variety of options. There's really expensive food right down to affordable options and some times the best food is found off the beaten path. We found a patteserie next to a fish shop just off Wagram that was incredible. Generally the closer you are to a major tourist attraction, then the more expensive it'll be. Especially the eiffel tower. If you are a tea drinker like my wife and I are, don't expect to get a good cup of tea everywhere. We were flat out refused tea with our breakfast one morning in a brasserie 😂. They also frown upon decaf coffee 🤷♂️. We had planned to buy travel passes when we got to Paris, but we didn't bother, we just casually strolled around taking in the sights, sounds and smells. We stayed about 30 minites walk from the Eiffel tower and L'arc de Triomphe/Champs Ellysees was 15 minutes. Don't expect cyclists to stop at red lights apparently they don't apply to them. If you plan to see everything you can in a short space of time then I would advise travel passes. Lots of people smoke outside bars, bistros and cafes, so if you are offended by the smell, eat inside. Taxi fares are set from and to the airport, check these at the airport and ask your driver on the way back too, or some will take advantage. We asked one outside the hotel and he gave us an inflated price, the one we actually got was spot on. There's loads of history to learn about too, we'll discover more of that next time. Paris is not a city in a hurry, relax and unwind in it's beauty.

Beautiful city with many historic sights.
Beautiful city with many historic sights. Great choice of restaurants and shopping. A fantastic choice for a city break. The sights are slightly spoiled by having to be on guard against the full range of scams operating in these areas. The Metro system is comprehensive and reasonably priced allowing easy travel. I would definitely go again. It is not a cheap city, but very few cities are. Book visits in advance and you will circumnavigate some of the queues. Be aware of free entry to some areas of the sights such as the Eiffel Tower and Arc De Triomphe, you don’t have to pay to get close to these places.
Really nice hotel, few steps from the Eiffel Tower and you can even see it from the street. Hotel is not far from the metro station so you can easily reach the public transport if need to. It is not a touristic place so the streets are not overcrowded by people while you are still not far from the city centre. Nice room with a/c and huge bathroom comparing to what you usually get in France😁 breakfast is not big but enough to start your day. There was water bottle in the room and a welcome seeets - really nice!
The staff were lovely and attentive. Though the room was a typical size for France, the space is well designed to feel more spacious. The decor was elegant and more beautiful than the photos convey. The location was fantastic. We enjoyed walking to the museums, the Seine, while passing by the top fashion houses, famous bars and hotels along the way. The Metro stop is literally at the corner and was so convenient and also a good experience. Nearby restaurants were great. A perfect place!
The hotel is situated in a very good location 3 minutes from ternes metro station,Charles de Gaulle–Étoile metro station,Arc de Triomphe and Champs-Élysées. The staff was very nice and helpful with every need. The room was good, it had a large bed and a big shower. Overall I had a very good experience and felt that the price was relatively low (considering the fact that Paris is not a cheap place). When I come back to Paris I will definitely consider staying there again.
I expected it to be a bit rubbish, to be honest, because it's a cheap hotel that we booked at very short notice. Actually, it's got charm. It's clean, the staff are nice, and when you're leaning out of your window over the tiny balcony, four floors up a slightly wonky staircase, looking out onto the mansard roofs and tall windows of the courtyard and listening to the muffled bustle of the rue de St Antoine - you know you could be nowhere else but Paris.
The hotel itself is beautifully appointed. From the moment I arrived, the warmth and professionalism of the front desk team, including Francesca, Aurélie, Philippe, Régis, and Ryan, made me feel right at home.
My room was comfortable, well-maintained, and provided a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring the city. The location in the 8th arrondissement is perfect for sightseeing, with easy access to many of Paris’s iconic attractions.
This is a very good 3 star hotel. Good bed, room not as small as in Paris usually, very nice breakfast with tomato, cucumber and other fresh things, good orange jiuice and caffe, and croissants, of course. Very nice people iin reception, speaking good English without accent what has been problem in France sometimes. Breakfast room is big but it was quite full of people. You can take tea, coffee and water all day.
We stayed here for 5 days. This price is too cheap for 5 days in Paris. The room was very cute, it was close to the station and it was convenient to go anywhere. There are many nice shops around the hotel. The room has all the daily necessities. If there are 10 stars, I would like to give them 10. I was very pleased with the really nice and cute room. Thank you very much. I recommend this hotel to my friends.
All the furniture was so fancy and antique that guests must feel like they're royal of medieval France. The room was very clean, warm, and cozy.
It's far better than any other fancy hotel. The location is also wonderful. Especially, the host is so kind and warmhearted. They are always ready to help their guests not only about stay, but also some regional problems that may happen to the travellers.
The best hotel we stayed during our trip to North of France which is kids friendly. The room was clean and had a quiet corner for us to put the travel cot (which they provided for free). The shower was a bit small but good enough for a hot shower. The breakfast was very good and the lady at the kitchen very friendly helping with baby chair and toys. Good value for Paris.
what a lovely hotel! even better than the pictures! the staff was so kind for making dinner reservations for my family, location perfect for the Eiffel Tower visit. next to monoprix (the target of France :)) great breakfast including healthy superfood bowls. it was the perfect 1st night hotel for 1 night before an extended stay in the south of France
The staff was very nice and helpful. The baby cot was already installed when we arrived. Breakfast was ok but not impressive - considering food in France- but good enough for an early start. Hotel is Close to gate du Nord, which is great if you arrive by train. 20 min walk to Montmartre and Louvre ( in opposite direction).
My husband and I stayed at Hotel Bedford three nights to see the finish of the Tour de France. We loved staying at this hotel and found it to be elegant, very comfortable and clean, and the concierge service is extremely helpful. The location is outstanding for sightseeing and eating out in Paris!
One of the best hotels in Paris, really good rooms, value for money when it comes to France, love the environment and keep coming back if I can, sometimes depending on events in the area they can be really expensive and then cannot book it. That is the only downside, people like it so prices go up.
I liked the location to the Paris Marathon and metro, staff was very friendly, view from my room, but that's about it. Staff offered the spa for a shower after my marathon, since I was checking out the same day. That was very nice and much appreciated before heading out to my next stop in France.
We had a nice and quiet room on 4th floor. Staff was available 24h and the location of the hotel is amazing! Public parking is on the same street and cost 16$ per day which is very cheap for Paris. All area seems to be really safe! We can definitely recommend this hotel!
Great location, clean, cheap (for city centre Paris) and nice friendly staff. If you're more interested in the location than the facilities then it's good for the non fussy traveller.
beautiful hotel, clean rooms, wonderful location, but most importantly, the most amazing staff of all the hotels I stayed at in France. They are truly so sweet and helpful!
A nice hotel at a fair price in a great location, right next to the Montparnasse train station and the M13 line. Great for Paris as well as travel around France.
Perfectly situated between Marais and the 11th. Large, clean rooms with balcony and all amenities. One of the best (cheap) hotels I ever stayed in in Paris.
