I judge a place by its people, and to me they make you feel very welcome. Myself &the Mrs go to Sligo Town, at least six times a year for 2/ 3 days at a time. Its home from home, great food , great bars, Trad music, and great to relax. Love Sligo

We were mostly in the Strandhill area which is beautiful. Lots of places to eat and drink. Beautiful beach area where surfers were surfing, and Knocknarea to climb if you have the legs for it! Dinner at The Venue and best we’ve had so far.
The Strand Bar was fantastic too. Fresh sweet seafood!

Sligo is a lovely place, both for itself and its location to explore lots of interesting places nearby. There are lots of cafes and restaurants to suit every taste.
The man in the tourist office was so nice and helpful. We were sorry that we couldn't go on the walking tour It sounded very interesting .
The one way traffic system is a bit confusing but we got used to it quickly. Actually, I'd advise people to park the car and just walk.. its much quicker.

Our stay at the Clayton was brilliant, room was lovely big large king-size bed room was lovely and warm very quiet, breakfast was amazing loads to choose from and plenty of it, staff great very attentive. Pool was great as was the jacuzzi. Lisa from Derry.
Reception staff were very efficient and welcoming, the hotel is in a nice location on the outskirts of Sligo.
We had bar food in Waves bar, the service was good and the food was tasty. The bar staff on the day were attentive and friendly.
We had a business class room and it was very spacious and well laid out. We had breakfast delivered to our room and it was good quality and piping hot. Parking included which is always a plus. Overall a very pleasant stay.
Leisure centre was great. Booked a swimming slot on each day which we really enjoyed. Crazy golf on the hotel grounds was fun. A good kids indoor area also. Great location as local bus for Strandhill and Rosses Point stops outside hotel. About a 20 min walk into the town centre so nice to see a bit of Sligo. Staff and service excellent. Great breakfast. Would definitely return and recommend it for families.
The hotel was very well located 15 min drive outside Sligo in a beautiful and quiet area.
You are welcome by lovely staff and some relaxing music playing in the room on the vintage radio. The decoration is exquisite, and the cleanliness was on top. The room was spacious with a small sofa.
Very agréable and relaxing stay would recommend it and definitely will come back.
Great location, very close to the city centre and all the other wonderful attractions Sligo has to offer. Lovey and friendly reception and security, easily accessed and quick to answer any questions. It is student accommodation during the term year so it is basic - the bed mattress could have been comfier, but it is clean, safe and secure.
Sheila is an excellent host. Her home is very welcoming. She goes above and beyond for her guests. Rooms are clean. The location is nice as it is half way between Rosses Point(the beach) and the strand. She has a beautiful home and back garden. I will surely rebook there when I return to the beautiful town of Sligo. Brilliant!
Good city centre location for anyone either travelling by career via coach/train (next to both stations). Within walking distance to shops, bars, restaurants and the river. Reception staff friendly. Spacious hotel & an indoor pool handy on bad weather days (although can only book 50 min slots and it's first come first serve).
Food was excellent, tasty, well presented and would recommend a stay in the Glasshouse Hotel, Large size bedroom with fast speedy WiFi aperfect location for staying in sligo as in centre of town easy walking distance to all amenities and underground car park. Highly recommend will be back.

Centrally located in a neighborhood that allowed for easy walking to restaurants and sights in Sligo.
Room was clean and had a great view of the river that runs right by the hotel. Nice bar and restaurant on site.
We loved the hotel room, leisure facilities and ambience. Breakfast was excellent & the guest experience manager went above & beyond to provide us with particular historical information about Roses Point 😊
Located within walking distance to everything in Sligo. Mary & Kieron have exquisite taste and have a marvelous attention to detail. They also helped me scout nearby locations. Breakfast was a must!
