Liane was an amazing guest, five star for her hospitality and cleanliness of the property. She is a very considerate host, even all the cutlery and crockery were super clean. I didn't have to wash them before I used them, which I usually have to do. Beds were clean and comfortable. Kids loved feeding animals and the archery tour. Loved Liane's partner's 'sheep jokes'. The host make you feel very welcomed. We had a lovely stay, would definitely come back.

We stayed to visit mum in the nursing home in St Helens. We only live one & a half hours drive away and they made us feel most welcomed. We would have liked to stay an extra night and they tried to accommodate us but unfortunately they were fully booked out the following night. Queechy seems to be very popular as I have viewed booking in the past but they have always been booked out.

St Helens is a cute town on the east coast of Tasmania.
It is an ideal location to stay for a few days and venture into the interior and other interesting places to visit around the town.
Just don't eat at the RSL. I expected more seafood to be available.
Pick up some tasty take away from the special section at the front of the IGA in the mall.
Towns and cities have a strange idea about disability access.

Lovely town with great eateries.
Lovely town with great eateries. The IGA had a variety of salads, the larger one not the small on main road that offered fresh salads. Great board walk around the water.
The Tasman Holiday park was modern, good facilities, a view of the water and quiet. This was our first ever stay in one and we were impressed with the cabin and the price.

St Helen’s is the central services community for many nearby small holiday hamlets. It has good supermarkets and an excellent provedore plus restaurants and most of the service facilities a holiday maker would need. There are interesting and varied beaches in the area and plenty of boating & fishing for those who enjoy these pursuits. Plenty to like, we did not find anything to dislike.

St Helens is a pretty coastal town with a great bakery - Banjos! It is also the gateway to the Bay of Fires which is an absolutely stunning place, even had a swim in warmish - 19 degrees water st gorgeous Binalong Bay.
Parnella Cottage felt like home. It's comfortably set up for a family or a couple and a great location to explore Stieglitz, Peron dunes, St Helens and beyond to the Bay of Fires and inland north-west Tassie. We enjoyed the comforts of the house, fruit/veg growing in the garden (we were lucky to find apples in season) and the night sky was stunningly clear. We appreciated the host's thoughtful touches and loved being able to bring our dog on holiday with us.
We really liked the location and the style of the accommodation.
It was nice that there was some tea bags & some sugar, together with a few other pantry items.
There was plenty of wood for the fire, however, we didn't use any.
I was surprised to see that the property had a sauna, but again, we didn't use it.
Good Wifi and reasonable phone reception.
St. Helens has the BEST french restaurant in town.... a "must" to try.
Many thanks to Attila for the warm introduction.
When our group arrived at the hotel, Attila gave us a detailed introduction of where the restaurants are better and where the scenery is worth seeing. Not only the local ones but also the whole of Tasmania were introduced, which gave us a clearer understanding of many things that were not available from public introductions.

The owner gave us a great tip where to eat and it was perfectly romantic. He also pointed out the trails on his property and I made use of them. The Blue wren cottage is unassuming from the outside but is immaculate inside. Both of us slept soundly on probably the most comfortable bed during our month long tour of Victoria and Tasmania. There are 2 towns within 9 kilometers.
awesome property tucked away on the road out of St Helens. Some love and attention has been out into the refurbishment of these at some point. Bedding was super comfortable, clean and is on point with a Major Hotel. We stayed in #2 which was a Two Bedroom. Check-In process was easy, text message and key box I really enjoyed as it was efficient and easy.
It is a decent villa with amneties. However it was a bit far away from St. Helens (around a 5 min drive). So for any food or other shopping would need to drive out. The upstairs area was nice with a good view of the bay area. The downstairs was quite dark with not much lighting. Overall, a decent place to stay around St. Helens area.
Great location, right in the middle of town. Free parking close by and you can walk to everything you need from the hotel. The restaurant down stairs is great and super lovely staff throughout. The room was surprisingly spacious, nice view across the bay, a new and clean bathroom. Would definitely stay here again.
The room was very modern, a rareity in Tasmanian motels! The room was of a style, comfort and size I'd associate with a 4 star hotel, for motel prices! The lady running the place is also incredibly friendly and helpful. She gave excellent local tips.
We stayed in the waterfront cabins and they looked brand new and better then some hotel rooms we stayed in. Having a laundry onsite was great and the restaurant was handy not to have to leave the park, they do the best pizzas!
Fantastic accommodation. Great location. 2 separate sleeping areas which made things easy for 2 friends travelling together. So close to town of St Helens and a short drive to Bay of Fires.
Great location, close to the area's shops. They don't call it Panorama Hotel for nothing, as it boasts a beautiful view at the back. Staff are friendly and accomodating as well.
The house was so big and beautiful. Location was fantastic with a view overlooking St Helens. We all loved the animals especially the emus who loved a feed and pat
