I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The room is clean and spacious, equipped with everything you need. Breakfast is good. I was especially pleased with the surprise that the hotel staff arranged for my birthday - for breakfast our table was festively decorated and my wife and I received a glass of dry sparkling wine. Very good short trekking route with a beautiful observation tower in the end.

The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Most spoke good English which helped us poor German speakers. Our room was spotlessly clean and full of character. It had a great view of the castle and a lovely balcony.
Breakfast was really good quality, it was served to the table in a classically decorated dining room. i.e. not a buffet.
The hotel is only a short walk into town an ideal location for walking in the countryside.
Overall an exceptional hotel in our view.

Our son made some noise at 6-6:30am on Sunday, so if in some reviews, next to mine, will be written the guests were noisy, it was us! 😬
guests are not allowed to walk inside with the street shoes and it is great!!
I think they use organic washing powder for the laundry and I think the soap in the bathroom was organic too.
