It's close to a beach which is especially good for little kids and collecting shelves^^... With the car we needed about twenty minutes to get to Usedom (depending on where you want to go it will take longer^^).. And about an hour to get to Ruegen^^... Which is just great^^.. In Freest itself is a neat little Restaurant and a Ferry that brings you Peenemuende on Usedom^^... You can also book special Ferry Tours^^...AAnonymousGermany

Easy access to the Freest small beach. However if you looking to visit anywhere in Usedom a few minutes in the car is a must (30-45m)
