We really enjoyed our stay here. The place is very charming, and if you stay there, you NEED to hike to Harkhof.
Everything was very tidy, and even if we didn't speak much German, the hosts were extemely nice and helpful.
Everything was clean and the photos are very true to reality.

Evening illumination of houses, a small village, everything looks like on greeting cards. We wanted a winter fairy tale and we got it. Excellent home, made in a traditional style, very colorfully furnished. Everything is thought out to the smallest detail and filled with warmth and comfort. There are many nearby places to visit the sights of Baden-Würtenburg and Alsace. Special thanks to the owners for their ability to create a holiday. We are more than satisfied with the quality of the apartments and the service - we highly recommend it.
Set opposite Gengenbach’s historic centre, this 4-star hotel on the banks of the river Kinzig boasts a relaxation area, fine Black Forest cuisine, and easy access to Offenburg’s exhibition grounds.

The room was spacious, modern and clean. The shower was excellent. Easy walking distance to the Altstadt. The only downside was that you couldn’t control the room temperature yourself from the room. You had to contact reception.

Perfect location, it was as good as the pictures. Very friendly welcome. The room was excellent, very comfortable beds. Delicious evening meal and breakfast
Beautiful space in the middle of the black forest. Lovely quiet country road taking you there. It's located on a small farm so had horses, chickens, rabbits and cows which our toddler loved looking at. There are options to eat there in the evenings (amazing home cooked meals) and you can order basic breakfast supplies to pick up in the morning so you can make yourself a great breakfast. Monica is also so friendly and helpful!
Loved the modern, spacious apartment. Beds were comfy, sofa has so much room and the balcony wonderful views. Liked the bathroom and owner was helpful when experiencing one small problem opening the door, which was resolved quickly. The apartment is in a charming Black Forest village with a friendly bar/restaurant nearby and a train station. The location was extremely quiet.
The location of the property was great for our purpose (traveling all around the Black Forest). It is quite in the middle of everything and between two of the major villages of the area (Gengensbach and Bad Peterstal).
The room was also impressive, the bed was huge and very comfortable and we had a private terrace.
Having private parking was great too.
The hotel sits on a quiet location and is good for hiking, but also just very near to the town proper. The restaurant serves good food, and the price is not expensive. We enjoyed the stay and the warm hospitality by the staff. Will surely come back next time.
