The location in terms of being picturesque and in the lap of nature was good.
In one word 'Magical'. Fantastic castle, beautiful rooms yet cosy, tastefully decorated rooms, truly a majestic place to stay. The direct surroundings of the castle itself, the long driveway, trees along the path leeding up to the premises. The gate istelf.
It almost felt like something a royal family rents out or something a famous actor would book for a long weekend away, amidst a quiet green mother nature.
Nothing negative to say, really. Hike up and down the shore of Lac Nisramont was beautiful - make sure you have a local map for any hikes. Red path is 4-6 hours. And yellow path led us directly back to parking lot somehow. We walked up and down the shore which at the end was perfect too.
It might not be an hotel but the owner is very friendly and available. We were depending on public transport for our trip and he offered himself to give us a ride for near locations. He arranged dinner for the day after knowing we did not have a car ( a bit overpriced but we appreciated the effort) . He suggested nice walks and places to visit, such as the Hotton's caves. The location is very nice and strategic to visit all the villages around, do some hikes, and 10 mins walk from the closest train station. We will definitely go back.
Very new and clean room. All seems just refurbished, a right convination of classic with all modern comfort things the staff is very friendly ..we feel like home with family. The owner speaks only French but with a little help of signs and Google translator we managed to have good conversations.
The view from the hotel is very nice. You can see all the fields..lot of green.
The breakfast was also very nice with home made jams and fruits from their garden. Also eggs, jam, cheese and nice crossaints
This farm is a truly special place. It feels very authentic. It is set in a beautiful village in a gorgeous area. There are many hiking trails around and also a short driving distance to Hans sur Lesse, Hotton caves, the beautiful Durbuy town and the fun Durbuy adventure park. The ladies who took care of us were super friendly and helpful. The place was clean and the kitchen was well equipped. Our kids loved the animals (donkeys, pigs, hens) and were allowed to pet them, which they really enjoyed.
Fully equipped apartment, most probably recently renovated. Great view and lots of space for kids to play outside. Located in a very peaceful small village near Hotton. Perfect place to visit surroundings of Hotton. All necessary information sent by email, making it easy to arrive on place and get the keys from key-box. We really enjoyed a bottle of sparkling wine left as welcome gift :) Highly recommended!
a huge apartment above the owners charcuterie shop in the centre of charming Hotton. Loads of space for a large group - two double bedrooms plus a third double that also has a bunk bed. there’s a shower room plus a bathroom, but the only downside could be there’s only one toilet.
The very friendly monsieur and Madame also plied us with delicious charcuterie, so vegetarians may want toast them know not to!
The location was great, in a very quiet area not so far from the Ourthe and Hotton. Our room had a very nice view and we had everything we needed.
The common area in the garden is very nice. The parking right next to the accommodation it's very convenient.
The host was flexible with the check in time and attentive. Thank you!
Would definitely come back.
Our final stop on a marvellous hike along the Ourthe. The hotel has a patisserie and bakery. Nice clean and cosy rooms with a large (!) television screen. We stayed on the top floor. Had a breakfast in the morning in the bakery. Homemade jam is recommended. A cup of coffee. And a goodbye. If you need some rest in Hotton. This is where you can stay.
Recently refurbished / decorated family run hotel. Rooms all had air conditioning and were of a good size. Hotel is located in the heart of Hotton and close to all the restaurants the town has to offer. Very tranquil location.
Very nice location in the green surroundings of Hotton. Well situated for hikes and visiting the Ardennes. A bit remote if you're not by car. The farm offers outside facilities, garden, small playground.
