Very cosy small hotel above the city, with a wonderful view. I woke up in the morning with haze over the city it looked like a lake. Simple rooms, just what I was looking for and 2 minutes from the LKH Zwettl where I had a meeting. Hütte Restanuart around the corner (closed on Tuesday) and Schwarzer Alm (10 min. drive) with splendid location in thefields and woods.

What a great stay! You can watch the big deer enclosure from the terrace. There is a lovely cat, very well-behaved, so you don't have to worry it will go in, but she will come for some warm touches on the terrace during the day. Everything inside was very clean and comfortable. The accommodation offers everything you need. We were heavily cooking there without any problem. Also, there are some pizzerias nearby from where you can order food.

Breakfast was good but basic - no eggs or yoghurts were offered but got lots of nice rolls, ham, cheese, honey and jams instead also good coffee and local bio teas from Sonnentor. The rooms are set back from the main street and can be accessed through an alley that leads to the parking. My car was parked under the appartments where you stay but is generally very quiet. Cheap and cheerful would best describe the place, you get a nice bedroom with balcony and bathroom, nothing more, nothing less.

Culture, indulgence and joy of living can be experienced in the romantic baroque castle of Rosenau, set amidst a beautiful green park.
