Bad and worst experienced ever. The hotel staff was bad, rude and hot tempered. The hotel facility is not suitable with the price paid. Be careful.

I only passed by the town during my short trip to tanjong jara. But there’s everything u needed. Drugstore chains, clinics, banks and loads of restaurants with local delicacies. Oh and a visit to Rumah Kraf Batik at Jalan Nibong stesen is a must - a local artisan batik specialist. You can find high quality caftans from various materials; cotton / silk, shirts, baju kurung, parios and scarves.

I was in Dungun for a diving trip to the nearby Tenggol Island, which is about 45 minutes speedboat ride from the nearby jetty. There are plenty of good, affordable hotels in Dungun, especially along the road beach plus quite a few homestays around the same area. There are also plenty of restaurants in that area meaning you do not have to travel far away to get food if you stay around the area.

Peaceful with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.
Peaceful with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.
Abundant cafes along the beachfront.
Compact town area with a good range of shops for everyday items.
The beachfront itself is really nice - a long stretch of walkable golden sand.

The sleepy town has become more vibrant in recent years.
The sleepy town has become more vibrant in recent years. Few new beach resort that I like to try such as Permata and Ulek beach resort. Even a few cafe and dine in available along the beaches. 8km of white sandy beaches but not really safe for swimming due to big waves. Plenty of eateries for must try local food. They even have mcdonalds there. Great town!

The size is just right -- the town offers all the mainstream food and social favourites. No traffic. Only 30 minutes from Kuala Terengganu, via a really good dual-carriage way. I'd stay in Dungun more than I would Kuala Terengganu
Spacious house with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. All rooms are air-conditioned and very comfortable. The living hall, dining room and kitchen are equipped with ceiling fans. Not forgotten, the owner is friendly and accommodative. This house is built with a huge porch that can easily fit 3-4 cars. Love the cleanliness plus the full facilities that makes my stay in Dungun truly memorable. Highly recommended.
House is great. Beautiful, clean and cozy. Nice view as well from the big windows overseeing the beach. Pool is a plus, suitable for both adults and children.
Also close to many warung and town.
Definitely enjoyed our stay.
Sally is a wonderful host. We actually left smtg after checking out and she informed us immediately afterwards. Really appreciate that.
I love the private beach, it is so beautiful and clean. Also there is so many place to relax around the resort and it is so peaceful. I love the selection of breakfast they provide and the staff very friendly. I love Nelayan Restaurant where they have beautiful view and the food super delicious.
Near the beach, food from restaurant below guesthouse very delicious and variety of it, lot of activities available upon request, safety secured as the entrance of guesthouse required a pass card, quite secluded from town so its quite and calm.
parking was not so hard, staffs are nice, checking in was easy and the room was surprisingly spacious and comfortable! The best part of it was that they even provide breakfast for two. For a budget hotel, this is indeed worth every cent.
Everything, the view was awesome, the room fantastic ( we almost felt like not going out of the room!). The beeakfast was superb, I was full up until lunch. I love everything about the hotel, definitely will be back again.
The place is beautiful because it is located at the beach and it give a good and chill vibes. If you are staying for working, it is a pleasant stay. I definitely recommend to those who want to stay for leisure.
Location..... Really nicely located about halfway of Sura beach, making reaching anywhere is just minutes away.... And the host really helpful & recommended places for breakfast, lunch & dinner...
