The circular walk (around 4.5miles) is well sign posted & provides superb views of the Aberdyfi estuary from on high - not easy as it’s a steep climb in places but well worth it for the views !!!!

Aberdyfi is beautiful on a summers day even though it gets really busy. On a wet miserable winters day 2 weeks from Christmas looked like a ghost town, with a few cafes open and pubs but no shops after 4pm. Beach is lovely, however we only went for a brief walk as weather great . Sad it didn't look festive is this down to council cutbacks you have to ask yourself?!

Beach great to walk, play and has stunning views.
Beach great to walk, play and has stunning views. We got an ice-cream from Aberdyfi ice cream shop which had plenty of flavours to choose from and was delicious. We took a day out to a local ruined castle which was a short drive away and stunning too. The pub had great food and staff, but was a short walk from beach on a road with no pavements.

The house is acceptable with all the facilities available.. the only thing is that the owner took advantage of his right to deduct money from my card afterwards, when he ripped us off for £99 pounds for very few trivial bits left, like an empty wine bottle and a nappy. I felt that this not really professional.

Lovely sandy beach and harbour plenty of places to walk both in and around. Visited Coast for a Tapas evening the wine and food was very good. Lots of lovely coffee shops for sitting outside. The Medina being one of them tucked away off the main street. Very easy to get around and lots of other places within easy access too.

Aberdyfi isn't a convenient place for international people...
Aberdyfi isn't a convenient place for international people without a car. It is a place with mostly local (English/Welsh/Scottish) people who are not very welcoming. The behaviour of the hotel and restaurant staff is also surprisingly bad! There was no decent place to eat, we were starving most of the times. The fancy restaurants also do not cook, they just serve ready-made unhealthy items. The place was not well situated to hike in Snowdonia either which was our main purpose. Overall it has been a bad choice for us!
Our room was clean and very attractive. It had recently been re-decorated. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was stunning. Several sockets in the room had built-in USB chargers - a nice touch. The breakfast was good and the staff were friendly and helpful. The meal was good and the price was really reasonable. Located on the sea front, this hotel was perfectly placed to explore the town and beach area. We would happily return here for a future visit.
A beautiful location. The property overlooks Aberdyfi golf course and sand dunes, leading to the sea. The views of the sea and sky were constantly changing as the weather changed, very atmospheric. Great for artists and photographers.
The mature gardens and lawns around the house were very well maintained and must look stunning in spring and summer.
Perhaps another holiday one day when we could enjoy the outside facilities?
The location was ideal and the parking pass to a nearby carpark made it a lot more convenient than first anticipated.
The photos don't do the quality of finish and decor justice! Beautifully furnished and decorated. Lovely white and fresh bed linen and spotlessly clean. I felt comfortable with my kids and dogs and the stair gate at the bottom of the stairs made it so easy with the dogs and their sandy paws!
Fabulous views, top quality furnishing and equipment, very comfortable bed, ideally situated for shops, restaurants, pubs and beach. Proprietors, Linda and Nigel are very friendly and helpful yet unobtrusive. The breakfast was probably the best I’ve had in any hotel (and I’ve stayed in many) - worth every penny.
The accommodation was perfect for us during our visit to Aberdyfi. The Hospitality Tray was gratefully replenished in good time and even included one of our favourite teas and biscuits. The porridge pots were an added delight and the host Jen was also most delightful. Thank you.
Great location centre of Aberdovey
Friendly staff
We had room 1 with full sea view
Couldn’t fault it
Only problem people decided to stand on pavement opposite hotel drinking till
12 and we’re noisy
Should have been told to use bar/lounge
Fantastic peaceful location to relax and unwind
Amazing views overlooking Aberdyfi.
A well equipped, spacious, warm and cosy log cabin.
Wonderful hosts with quick responses to any queries.
Enjoyed every minute..will be returning soon ☺
Thank you to manager Dave for an upgrade. We loved the sea view room. Parking can be an issue when busy but we were able to park outside the hotel luckily. Hotel staff are all very friendly. All trying to make your stay the best.
Situated in the centre of Aberdyfi, very comfortable room with excellent breakfast. The pub side of the business is well separated from the hotel side so nice and quiet but there is the conviviality there as well.
Perfect location opposite the beach, beautifully furnished and well appointed small hotel. The hosts were welcoming and could not have done any more to make our stay absolutely perfect.
Great view and very nice room with basic facilities. My mother stayed in separate room within the hotel she didn't have tv reception this wasn't dealt with unfortunately.
