We came for a family funeral as it is my home time. It is not very touristy but a perfectly nice place if you find your self in the local area for business or visiting family. Some excellent pubs and restaurants. Quite a good shopping area if you find you need anything. Far nicer than Nuneaton.

Hotel is of a high standard, all the staff are helpful and friendly a credit to the hotel. With large rooms as standard, and very well maintained and spotless ,comfort second to none.the leisure facilities are of the highest standard Every thing required for a relaxing and pleasurable stay. Hinckley is a good place to spend time plenty of parking and shops and the space centre is near by for wet or dry days

The staff are really welcoming and helpful! The quality of food in the restaurant was lovely will be trying the dinner menu next time I go. My second time staying I will be booking again! Sauna was not working but they seem to be improving the hotel since I last stayed did not make a difference to stay and experience.

If you want a quite night sleep, avoid room 148.

If you want a quite night sleep, avoid room 148. Its opposite the lift, very noisy. Plus over looking a garden where guest gather to smoke very noisy. The swimming pool was far too cold, no locker keys your belongings are not safe? Evening meal excellent. Breakfast cold, very dissapointed.

The place was so lovely, clean, and the quality of everything was of the highest, we were really comfortable, bathrobes, thick towels, beer in the fridge (sadly we are both on a diet) Highest spec on everything really. We will certainly go back again, its just a few minutes walk outside of Hinckley town centre. Host was really welcoming and left us to our privacy, comfy sofa, easy to work tv, I could go on and on, really liked it a lot thank you

It was very quiet when I stayed, but it's crucial to note that being a conference hotel, it won't be particularly bustling without events. Had a really pleasant surprise of a room upgrade and a complimentary breakfast at check in. While the hotel could use some maintenance (my window didn't seal shut), the bed provided exceptional comfort—arguably the best sleep I've experienced in a hotel in quite a while. The staff were lovely as well.

Overall, my family and I had a great experience. The first night I ordered dinner at the Trimph Restaurant which I thought the fish was a little under cook to my liking. The staff member, Chaz went above and beyond in preparing a new meal. Much appreciated.

Poor staffing levels. No full menu in restaurant. Food was like warm and way below standard for four star hotel. Very poor value for money the rate paid. A premier Inn was more value with better options

It is in a pleasant location and maintains some traditional charm to the building, however, the internals are in various stages of refurbishment so looks more like a standard box hotel inside.
