The spa facilities were second to none, absolutely fantastic, beautiful pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi, could not fault it.
The breakfast was to die for, a great choice of cereals, fruit juices, pastries, cheese, and meat.
All meals were freshly cooked, these also were amazing. Unfortunately, the evening meal was disappointing. We had the traditional fish and chips, not very nice at all. Our waitress for breakfast was an extremely nice person and was very efficient. Thank you 😊

I posted a bad review of this hotel because it was shut because of Storm Gerrit and they did not let me know.
I realise now that I was harsh and the owner has since telephoned and explained that they were short-staffed and because of the extreme weather conditions there was a failing in communication.
I shall certainly book again as it sounds lovely and I apologise for my bad review since we did not stay there

We stayed 2 nights just outside of Llangefni and only visited the town briefly. The reason for the visit was to go to Nant Y Pandy - the Dingle - to see red squirrels. Parking in the town centre right by the entrance to the park for a small parking charge, The boardwalk trail was very accessible although a little rickety in places. And boy did we see red squirrels! Up close to the boardwalk, total joy. The site has a volunteer squirrel whisper - William Roberts - who walks in the park twice a day now he's retired. He really made our visit with his friendly chat about the red squirrel population in Nant Y Pandy and Anglesey as a whole, we came away better informed and with smiles on our faces! William feeds the squirrels everyday at 3pm, unfortunately we were unable to stay for that. Well worth a visit particularly as we didn't spot any reds at Newborough forest and only 2 at Plas Newydd. Also walked out to the reservoir and watched the birds there. Well worth a visit.

Did not spend much time in Llangefni.
Did not spend much time in Llangefni. Out and about in Anglesey most of the time, but Llangefni is a good place to stay for exploring Anglesey.
There are 4 or 5 supermarkets for stocking up (Asda, Lidl, Aldi etc).
Thomas the Butcher for fresh meat and the Avondale Café does a mega breakfast.

Very clean, good location, needs a welcome pack on arrival.
Very clean, good location, needs a welcome pack on arrival. Every other cottage I have stayed in offers nice bread, butter, jam bottle of wine, orange juice coffee tea sugar milk and biscuits. With shampoo/ conditioner and body wash. It was a shock to fine none of the above, for the cost of the rental.
The hotel was really nice, comfortable, it will be excellent when they get the kitchen refurbished so they can serve food again, although I booked the wrong bull hotel instead of valley, by my sister it was only 15 mins drive away , I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it. The walk close by at the dingle was lovely especially seeing the red squirrels.
The room was better than the photographs, it was super modern and contemporary, very tastefully furnished with everything we needed. A nice unexpected touch was fresh milk in the fridge, bread butter, jams and marmalade. And a large choice of tea that would grace most top hotels.
Oh and yes, the great reviews online are very true.
We will definitely be back.
A beautiful contemporary lodge extremely comfortable full of mod cons, spotlessly clean with friendly host. In an ideal location to explore Anglesey or you can just relax in the lovely private garden area complete with patio furniture, heating and bbq. Would not hesitate to return there.
Superb little apartment. Absolutely everything you need for a couple to spend a few days touring Anglesey. Spotlessly clean and with high quality kitchen appliances.
Great value too compared with virtually all the hotels nearby.
The owners are very friendly too. Highly recommended
The full cooked breakfast was well presented and huge. Our evening meal on Sunday night was really tasty and there was a good choice on the menu.
The spa facilities were fabulous and we enjoyed a good two hours alternating between the pool, the sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi.
Great little place. Amazing location and spa facilities are excellent. The staff were so friendly and accomodating- my wife had special diet requirements which they were so kind to adjust. Menu options were very good. Also the grounds around the hotel are awesome
The location is what we loved the most! It was so easy to get anywhere on Anglesey! I don't think we had to drive much more than thirty to forty minutes in any direction to get to any of the sights or beaches on the island!
nice location. Easy parking. Pleasant staff. Tasty food, breakfast very good albeit slightly small portion size. For once a remote hotel with decent wifi. Huge window that opens wide. Generally a good looking hotel.
We visited with our two children. The house is an ideal size for 4 -5 people., and most importantly has two toilets and showers. Warm, comfortable and ideally positioned to see the best of North Wales and Anglesey
The hotel and staff were excellent and the food in the restaurant was first class. The only downside was there was no shower and the water pressure was very low. The staff were lovely - friendly and very helpful.
Ideal location for us, we were visiting friends in Llangefni, so they were less than 10 minutes away. Visited lots of National Trust properties and local attractions. Saw the red squirrels at Plas Newydd.
Nice and clean hotel with great service. Restaurant with good menu and tasty dishes. Location in the centre of isle that is useful for the exploration if this small cosy world of this magnificent isle.
Spa facilities were excellent, very impressive pool for a hotel. Grounds were also lovely. Part of the hotel was closed due to ongoing work but that didn't affect our stay. Staff very friendly.
Breakfast was excellent food was well cooked and and the service was great 👍 very good choice of food, excellent setting lovely views of Anglesey would recommend highly.
