Prior to our stay we sent over some enquiries and received very prompt and friendly replies with helpful information (follow Ray & Anne's advice about satnav directions).
The cottage is set in a tranquil location, easy to find, with parking on site. We were greeted by Ray who showed us where we would have breakfast the following day, and then to our room which overlooked woodland from the side window and the wooded bank and treehouses to the rear, with bird feeder hung over the Juliet balcony.
We were going out again to meet family, and were given the front door key for access later that evening.
The room was comfortable, clean, and peaceful, with great facilities including a kettle, large mugs, cafetiere and fresh coffee, plus instant coffee, a variety of tea, and biscuits, plus fresh milk in the fridge on the landing. The mattress and pillows were comfortable, though the bed was a little creaky : /
In the cosy breakfast room there was a lovely woodburner. Ray provided a superb breakfast, absolutely delicious, with more than we could eat which set us up for the day ahead.
We would highly recommend Kingsley Cottage, a wonderful place to stay.

This is a lovely bungalow in a quiet area with everything you would need. Paul is a great host as he greeted us on arrival and sent us clear instructions on how to get to the bungalow and even clearer instructions on how to use the appliances. The icing on the cake was that we were welcomed with a slice of homemade cake which was a lovely surprise after such a long journey from London. We will definitely book again on our next visit to Devon

Amazing place to stay with family, very peaceful and quite without any disturbances. A good place to stay with the family. Our Host were brilliant we couldn’t ask for more. All that was stated on the Booking.com is absolutely true. The house was stunning, immaculate and clean. Everything was provided in the house including the utensils. Upstairs bedroom very good sizes and has two separate bathrooms which has a massive space. I can only say it’s a good place for those who have a car due to the distance but I can’t complain.
