With amazing weather and multiple picturesque locations in and around, Bedugul is a must visit for people looking to explore the REAL Bali.
I have been to Bali twice and find Kuta/Seminyak/Nusa Dua and the other most frequented places to be too touristy and commercial. You will enjoy every bit of the humble hospitality that the Balinese have to offer when you explore the unexplored!
The locals treat you like royalty and are the most polite of indigenous population I have come across throughout my little travel across the world

bedugul has limited offerings. good passing thru spot. the temple is disappointing and the market has quite a lot of possible purchases but the shop owners are very pushy.
the botanical gardens and the lovely garden centre lined street leading up are worth a wander.

Bedugul is great for a day time trip to see the temple and lakes, for a few hours. Some nice warungs with cheap and tasty food. Wouldn’t recommend staying overnight in bedugul though, especially if you don’t have a motorbike/car yourself.

Great place, quiet, relaxed, cool (1200 - 1500 m), Botanic Gardens are spectacular cloud forrest, view and food from Danau Restaurant, the Temple at Lake Bratan (opposite Danau Restaurant), Temple at Lake Tampingan, strawberries and boiled peanuts at the markets, fire, view, gardens and meals at Warung Restreasi, highly recommend a few days at Bedugul.
Strawberry hill hotel is a true gem! A beautifully landscaped compound with a number of cosy cabins within. I loved the garden and how peaceful it felt despite being next to a busy road. There was some traffic noise but really, it had minimal effect on me (and I'm a light sleeper). The staff were very responsive and helpful with sorting out our transportation, which we really appreciate. All in, a wonderful stay with those much appreciated side touches (like a hot water bottle for cold nights, a bath tub, lovely breakfast).
This hotel is spacious and has spectacular views of the valley and mountains everywhere you are at. It has nice, clean and comfortable rooms with great Tvs, nice outdoor balcony, and a big bathroom. Beautiful surrounding terraces and gardens, nice pool. The food at the upstairs restaurant is wonderful. The breakfast buffet has so many selections you won’t need to eat until dinner. The staff in the entire hotel are super friendly.
I highly recommend and would stay here again if I came back to the area.

The location is perfect, with nearby lakes and the beautiful botanical garden.
This stay offers a refreshing change from traditional hotels, with its original concept, fantastic host, and great location.
Not too far from everything but amazing views! The breakfast with the mountain views were a highlight. Lovely staff - offered a room upgrade for free and drove us to an international atm when our cards weren't working in the village. We loved the little huts - pretty good and clean toilet/shower for an outdoor bathroom! Definitely recommend if your in Bedugul. Great place to relax/heal. Felt well looked after here.
Recommend electric biking through the botanical gardens !!!
we LOVED and enjoyed our stay at the villa! everything was amazing, the villa was cozy and beautiful, the weather was just perfect. Pak Putu was really welcoming and helpful, he was always ready when needed. we loved the fireplace, it was beautiful and the pool table where I spent the last night playing with my husband and son while enjoying the fireplace. overall it was such a perfect getaway for my family and we will definitely be coming back!
Breakfast was excellent though choice somewhat limited.
Evening meal was excellent but limited choice also.
Surroundings and garden were relaxing to be in and back ground music enhanced the experience.
2 bedroom villa was very comfortable. Complex opened in March 2023 so everything was new and villa tastefully decorated
Parking was easy. There was no need for room ac as quite cool at night.
Reception/check in was efficient and welcoming !
First of all, the views. Wonderful! Beautiful! Okay, a little bit scary to arrive at the hotel with a bike, but it is worth it. The staff was very helpful and showed us around. There was a very spacious room with many pieces of furniture. The yoga at 7 AM is - the perfect way to wake up. The breakfast (included) and the dinner (excluded, but available to order extra) - nice and tasty. All in all, it was a refreshing and peaceful place to stay
We stay only one night we did not inquire of the temperatures in this region, it is cool and cold in the evening, remember to bring something to dress warmly ;-)

Great guess house and place to eat meanwhile you spend your time in Bedugul. Room very cleaned with a comfortable bed, cool place to practice meditation and yoga, and with vegetarian and vegan opcions too. The owner, Elena, was really nice and kind with us. She was hospitable and very altruistic. We were so grateful that I hope we meet in a future again!

It's a good hotel for a pit stop or just a few days.
The view from the room is marvelous and the location is also great. Close to the busy area and not far from all the attractions.
stuff is very nice. cleaning room everyday very well.
nature around the hotel is beautiful. very calm place. good for family or for old people. for younger customers a bit boring.
Absolutely delightful staff who were really going above and beyond. Great view over the lake, providing tranquility and some relaxation after the bustle of the rest of Bali.
Exceptional locale. Overlooks glorious rice paddies. Hotel decor and gardens charming and whimsical. There are chickens, dogs and a rabbit living here!
